The case seems pretty solid. I bought this case for a 2019 MacBook Air 13in. There are many reviews saying that the case does not fit. I thought the same thing as first. There are no instructions with this case. The case will fit, but it is a tight fit. A couple of notes for the install of this case. for the bottom part of the case, you have to match up the holes for the USB-C ports. Bottom part of case will clip on. for the top part of the case, make sure that the wording "Supercase" is able to read when lid is open (word should be on bottom part when lid is open). When installing the top part of the case, make sure that the laptop lid is closed. You will need to apply a good amount of pressure to the edge of the case to ensure that the tabs on the case go over the bezel of the laptop screen. I would caution anyone to not apply pressure to the center part of the laptop screen. The company should really create a video to show how to install.

I love the design of this case and the best part is how protective it truly is. I commute a lot to work and needed to make sure that I have enough protection for my macbook air considering I like to haphazardly throw it into my backpack. This case made me feel much safer and gave me peace of mind. It does make your air feel heavier but I think the protection is more than worth it. I was looking all over amazon for a good case and was so happy with this purchase because I think I did a good job at finding the best one for a reasonable price!

I bought this case because UAG has yet to release one for the new 2018 MacBook Air. For $30, I must say this is a really good case. It fits perfectly and all the cutouts line up properly. It may not have all the extra features of a UAG case that costs $80, but it will protect my laptop well enough to keep it looking new and not get any scratches on the exterior. Good job Unicorn Beetle! You just gained a new customer!

The new SUPCASE cover was easy to install, looks great on the 2018 MacBook Air and has a non-slip texture that makes it easy to carry. I like that the cover also wraps around the edges of the computer. It fits perfectly. I also purchased the CaseBuy premium ultra thin keyboard cover at the same time. It protects my keyboard from any liquid spills, and keeps dirt out of the keyboard. Together the two items make a wonderful combination, well worth the investment for peace of mind.I need to amend my original assessment. I have had the SUPCASE for seven months now and I still really like it. However, somehow some noticeable dirt got under the computer lid so I had to remove the upper half of the SUPCASE to clean off the dirt. When reinstalling the top cover two of the clips chipped. At this point all are still gripping the edges of the computer, but I was surprised that there is basically one chance to install the top and additional removals (for like cleaning) will crack the tabs. Not good. I have had to remove the bottom half numerous times because of water condensation that occurs when actually using the computer on my lap. Apparently the air circulation under the case isn’t sufficient when using the computer as an actual laptop. Heat builds up and heavy dripping condensation gets trapped between the bottom of the computer and the case bottom itself. This is not a problem when the computer sits on a hard surface. Reinstalling the bottom half of the case after drying off the bottom of the laptop did not result in any fracturing of the tabs that hold the bottom half onto the computer. This cracking issue just seems to be a problem with the top half. I did downgrade my original five-star rating to four; I really like the case but am particularly troubled by the brittleness of the top half attachment tabs.

Money and lost time. It’s for MacBook Air 13 inch; but only for older models A1932; as it’s said in picture . If they says not for all models or inky for models from this year to this one maybe avoids more confusions .

All the clips fit my 2019 MacBook Air perfectly WITHOUT interfering with the hinge or when the laptop is closed. And the two pieces are held tightly to the body of the MacBook and they do not slip/unclip like other cheaper brands.The fit and finish of the two halves is great when the laptop is closed. There is no contact between the prices along the edges when closed. The cutouts for the ports are big enough for most USB-C peripherals to fit.It adds a bit of weight and girth but that's the price of protection. Very solid build as once it clips on, it uses the MacBooks body for structural support. All the edges are covered. There are vents underneath to allow some passive air movement. The corners have a good thickness to prevent damage from ~1m drops (from experience). It just feels solid.BONUS FEATURE: The added weight of the top half allows you to open the laptop lid even easier. It is well balanced and does not tip back when the screen is fully extended, which is nice.I put a SopiGuard carbon fiber skin on my laptop and it looks magnificent through the transparent plastic window of the case.

I wanted to love this case but for some reason the fit on the bottom is a little off. I think I may have gotten a defective case, because other reviews stated that the case fits well. It looks very sturdy and if it weren’t for that matter I’d probably had kept it. It is a nice case. The corners are very sturdy. I’m sure if laptop ends up falling, the screen would be protected. If I had the time I would probably had asked for a replacement, but I bought a laptop as a gift to my husband and I needed to put a case before handed it to him.
