Good Player
I only needed this player to back up all my mp3 files and listen to them on the go. Easy to operate and works fine with my Bluetooth earbuds and speakers. No issues so far since I got it. Small enough to carry around and the touch screen is nice feature.

Human DJs for life/support public radio KEXP & the Current
I got this to ease up on data use while adventuring while being EASY on the pocketbook so im not afraid of it breaking or falling in the water. Does the trick. I'm hooked on the radio function with the included headphones. I've found myself recording the radio with this thing rather than loading mp3 files. As the other reviews claim- the volume wheel sucks, I'm not sure if it ever worked correctly. Get it where you like it and just leave it. It's great for the price. I'd look elsewhere if you're trying to audiophile in your dad's cigar robe.

Broken before 1 week
The volume knob was a cute concept, however, it stopped working already and it hasn't been a week. When using it, the volume goes down instead of up, and won't go past a random number like 5, 3 or 20.Interface isn't that intuitive either, including creating Playlist. You get a maximum of 3 Playlists and you can't rename either. Not to mention, even if you organize your music, you still have to browse through Folder. And it doesn't pick up all tags so you can use the Album feature.I wanted something simple for music and not something that was going to include a browser and other junk apps. Thought this would do it but will now have to return because I can't even use it anymore due to volume controls not working.

Volume knob broken
Lovely mp3 player. Can download pictures, audio, ebooks, video. It also can record voice, although the quality of the microphone is terrible. However, the volume knob is completely broken. All I can do is keep turning it and hope it gets somewhere. I only got it in December. Functions well except for the volume knob, which is the reason that i cannot recommend this player.

Cheaply made. You get what you pay for.
For the money, it's not bad, but you get what you pay for. If you want a device that's easy to use and will last, this is not the one, but if you don't mind getting a cheap (and cheaply made) device, then this one is ok.The software is a little strange sometimes. Navigation isn't always intuitive. The touch screen is very small, and the icons on the screen are also small, so I often wind up pressing the wrong button several times in a row. The software has some funny quirks, like you can't fast forward or skip a track while the volume slider is on the screen. The only files that work with the ebook function are plain text files. If you're trying to download any ePubs you've bought, you won't be able to use them on this device. The navigation for ebooks is very strange. You have to swipe from the bottom to turn the page, and if you swipe from the right it closes the book. I often forget this quirk and close my book while I'm trying to read it.The volume knob started to have problems pretty quickly, even after just a couple of days, but it's still more or less useable if you're patient with it.The sound quality is just ok. If you're an audiophile, you would probably be better off with a different device. The form factor is nice, but it's also strangely heavy, like they put some weights inside of it. It's almost as heavy as my phone even though it's half as big.I probably wouldn't buy this device again, personally. When it inevitably breaks beyond repair, I'll probably shell out for something a little more expensive with a little better quality.
