Antenna connector askew/off center. Not 2 watts
This device is a Android phone/POC/UHF radio.1) The antenna connector (SMA Male) was askew/off center/crooked as it came new in the box. This thing happens during the final part of hand assembly at the factory when the "technician" isn't careful. 2) the UHF radio was advertised as being Two (2) watts rf output on High power. It is not. Although I don't have a bench meter, I compared it to two other radios of 1 (Icom IC F2000) and 2 watts (Retevis) respectively, using the same after market High gain antenna (Smiley). With those radios I was able to interrogate and QSO 4 repeaters. With this AnySecu, I was only able to do the same with only 1 of the other 3 repeaters. That tells me A) the power is not 2 watts, or B) the radio has some other deficiency. The device seems to be working ok as a cell phone, and as a POC radio. But the UHF part of it (and the primary purpose of this purchase) was unsatisfactory. Strike AnySecu off my list of possible future purposes.

No Instructions No Tech Support
There is very little information available on this radio, so I hope this review helps anyone who is looking to purchase it.I wanted a hybrid all-in-one Ham / POC radio that I could use to make 70cm repeater QSO's as well as use it for Zello. Although this radio has a number of downfalls, I chose to keep it in hopes of a firmware upgrade and possible help from the manufacture or YouTube in the future.First the positive, 1-The radio is LOUD. No problem hearing anything. 2-It runs Android 10 and I have downloaded many ham radio apps that work well in it. 3-It does have a GPS although it takes quite a while for it to lock on. I have downloaded and used GPS Tools and it finds my location ONLY when outside. 4- It works well on Zello, Echolink and Peanut. My audio reports on all radio apps were good. Now for the not so good. 1-The power and volume buttons are VERY stiff and hard to activate. 2-The UHF Radio measures about 2 watts on high and less than 1/2 a watt on low. The radio comes with 2 antennas, one stubby and one long. Don't bother with the stubby antenna. 3-You CANNOT eliminate the roger beep that not only beeps at the end of the transmission but ALSO at the beginning of the transmission. This is a complete no-no on ham radio repeaters! 4-Although the radio comes with a GPS I cannot get any app to recognize the location within any of the apps even after turning location services for each app. 5- The P-1 | P-2 | P-3 short cut buttons are useless as they cannot be programmed in anyway I can find.I installed a data only SIM card as I did not want another phone number. I had to contact the SIM card company (KiwiSIM purchased through Amazon) who helped me work through the quirky Network menus in order to install the card. The APN is defaulted to A-1 and you need to set it to the SIM card you install. Although it seems straight foward, the radio is quirky. The phone is unlocked and you need to enable Mobile Data, Roaming And Mobile Data Always on line so the phone can select the strongest mobile carrier wherever you are.

Not a reliable UFH radio
I was excited to get it working when it arrived. Apon operation I started with just the wifi connection and got zello operation all. But final test can it communicate with my other uhf radios? The answer, Yes and No. First off I had to use one of my own antennas because the one it came with had traces of glue. When installing said antenna the glue faild and it practically fell apart. Second, it transmitted the signal ok it was not very clear and mad alot of background noise but you can still hear the person speaking. However it would not receive anything back. Tried multiple times, different freqs and settings changed antennas only to get the same results. Over all not a reliable UHF radio

Nice radio
So far I really like this radio. It runs the Play store so you can add whatever apps you would like. I wanted to set mine up like a police scanner using a scanner app but have zello also running on it and it's done exactly that. I wasn't expecting much from the UHF radio and have been pleasently surprised to find out it works great!
