The exercises progress gradually and are clearly presented in the book. The audio download was easy and straightforward to use. The only negative comment I would make is that I think, even as a total beginner, I could play some of the example audio tracks better than whoever laid them down! (Inconsistent force applied to the snare and/or the kick drum in basic drumming patterns giving an unequal and jarring effect).

have brought this fir my grandson who will be getting a drum kit for xmas looks like it will something he can use good quality book

I liked the look of this book but it was a present for a 10 year old drummer ....

Really good for someone who doesn't want to hear drums if only they made all instruments the same lol

After reading the reviews for this book, I decided to buy it. When it arrived, I was convinced I had been sent a different book to that reviewed. First of all, it's not really a book but a very expensive brochure. I read the whole book from cover to cover in about 30 minutes and never skipped a word.This is the kind of thing you would probably buy before you even bought a drum kit. Most of the book is what you should be looking out for and how to hold the sticks. It basically covers what you get for free in the manual that comes with a drum kit. This will not teach you to play the drums to even a basic level. It's very expensive in comparison to what it actually covers. There are many free articles on the Internet that cover more than this book does.To it's credit, what there is was well written with good photographs with clear explanations. But do not expect this small brochure to even start teaching you to play drums.

fabulous Beginners book this has helped my granddaughter so much with learning the drums. Highly recommend this book

Good simple book, downloading was easy and really useful. Definitely worth buying.
