Q: Is this product capable of recording?

no it's just a camera, I have found it very useful for looking out for anyone in car parks etc when reversing. I must say though, that there are a lot of cheaper cameras & the screen is a bit big, ok for me as I drive a van.

Q: Can adhesive strips be used on the magnetic mount? I have a non-metallic caravan panel that I don't won't to drill into.

I didn’t want to drill into motorhome either for fixing. So I designed and 3D printed a mount that is sika flexed to van and used original mount with some m5 nuts and bolts. So far had over 1000miles with it and not moved or any danger of it falling off.

Q: This is mounted at the top of a high top transit van can the angle at which the camera sits be altered? I want so see my bumper and what is behind.

We've mounted our camera on a go pro mount so its adjustable. It will only be as adjustable as your mount. We use ours to monitor our tow car. (It's great for this and held up for over 8 hours without needing a recharge this weekend) we wouldn't be able to see our bumper though.

Q: Camera will not turn on. Arrived Thursday, charged up as recommended and will not turn on?

The camera only turns on when the view screen is turned on, that sends a signal to the camera. Is the screen on?
