Some trimming required
I love K&N air filters but this one was just a little to big for the air box on my 2005 Yamaha R6. It took some trimming and pressure to get it in but worth it compared to the stock filter.

Great filter, can’t go wrong. Spend the money
Can’t really go wrong with a K&N filter. Well built, sturdy, fit is perfect, and of course washable and reusable for years. This filter fit great on my 2004 Yamaha R6. You really get what you pay for with K&N. They are more pricey but can also easily last the lifetime of the vehicle when well maintained. I don’t know if there’s any performance difference but I’ll stick to K&N simply for the build quality and reusability. If you’re on the fence, spend the money. Get a K&N.

Bike runs better
Changed the air filter to this K&N after buying a used bike. I can actually hear the bike breathing better now cause the last air filter was like a sponge.

Great filter. Needed modifications
Great air flow and performance. Some k&n filters don't fit properly and need to be trimmed correctly (base was too thick and sloppily molded). Most come to your door Great though.

Dodgy fitment.
Did not seem to *quite* fit my 2005 R6, took it to a shop.. they cut away some of the excess rubber around the perimeter and its in there nicely :)

k&n= new lungs for your engine, ill always use them, never been dissapointed, always an improvement in performance. first thing i do is change to k&n filter on any new bike

Good quality
So far so good. I have been using k&n for the longest time I remember. But I used it for cars not for motorcycles. What a big difference in terms of my old bad filter.
