Blisstime 6 String Acoustic Guitar Bone Bridge Saddle and Nut Made of Real Bone for Acoustic Folk Guitar

My customer had a beginner-level guitar that was put out on the curb while the neighbor was moving. It needed a nut and saddle, and some setup work. I usually use renewable-resourced Vietnamese Water Buffalo Bone saddles and nuts for my higher-end customers, but I was out of stock and these would be OK. After the guitar was finished, the instrument really sang out and filled the room with a good, resonant sound. Bone For The Win!

I have a Mitchell O120CESB I got from GC for about $200. It, of course, came with plastic nut/saddle. Comparing the sizes with my originals with a caliper. I found that the differences were negligible. So out of the box a perfect fit for my acoustic.Swapping to the bone has turned this $200 guitar into a $500 guitar. It sounds SOOO much better.Not just the tone of the sound. But it resonates for like 60-90 seconds after strumming. Before it would go like 30-40 seconds before I couldn't hear it anymore. And it's got to be like 30% louder.I will be replacing ALL of my plastics out with these bones now.

Needed to restring the guitar. During cleaning, I cracked the Bridge. Purchased these and replaced the old ones. the price and quality were good. Nice looking bone color and the right size. worked great during replacement.

Yamaha APX-4A- The guitar is 20 years and I decided to knock the dust off. The old nut needed to be replaced because it was broken. It is the right length for the neck but I need to grind it to fit the grove at the bottom of the headstock. The bridge was not the correct size for the guitar., it will be used. I am pleased with the purchanse I just wish I would have checked the bridge length. The original bridge fine and I have no doubt that the guitar will be back in my rotation again very soon. The grinding is the cause of the 4 stars.
