It says its for exterior use so i would expect the plug to be waterproof but I wrapped mine in seran wrap to help protect it. Could also be put in heavy zip lock with exit holes tapped around. Or build little water proof box for it. Or put in larger plastic index card box with exit holes made. Or take your chances as is. (-:

Search "YoLink" Skill on Alexa APP to connect YoLink Outdoor Plug with your Alexa, then control your devices with voice commands. It also can be controlled by the YoLink remote controller. It will be a great ‘smart outlet’ to control your outdoor appliances (Patio fountains & Christmas lights) at any time, without having to go outside (or even be at home)! Also, if you have YoLink Security Sensors or YoLink Smart Home Device, you can make automation or YoLink Control between them.

If the startup current is 9-10 amps, it should work, the max output current is 15 amps.

You certainly can! The motion sensors need to be one of the following: 1. YoLink brand 2. Non-YoLink brand that have an Alexa or IFTTT skill 3. Non-YoLink brand that are connected to our Outdoor Contact Sensor. (they would need to have a dry contacts or a relay output, what is sometimes called "4-wire" -- a pair of wires for power and a pair of output wires.
