tech21 Evo Check for Apple iPhone Xs Max Phone Case with 12 ft. Drop Protection - Vert

I love these Tech21 Evo cases. I had one that lasted through 2 iPhone modes (about 4 years), even though the camera was in a slightly different place. The camera hole was just large enough to accommodate the minute difference in lens placement. While using that case, I dropped the phone more than once, on a variety of surfaces including asphalt, cement, etc. The case did its job and my phone survived each fall without harm. I did also have a Zagg Invisible Shield for glass protection as these cases are not meant to protect the glass from scratching.Based on the terrific performance of my last Tech21 Evo case, when I recently sank a ton of money into the new iPhone XS Max, I ordered the Tech21 Evo Check Case immediately. For a couple days I used the phone without a case; it was slippery and I was in constant fear of dropping it, plus the camera sticks out on the back so I feared scratching the lens if I set the phone down. Also, it didn't sit level on a counter because of the lens poking out of the back. New case arrived, all problems solved! My phone now feels secure in my hand, the case is just a bit thicker than the lens on the back, making the lens recessed and giving it some protection as it doesn't touch when I lay the phone on its back. The only thing about which I worried is that the bottom of the case has some give to it once it's on the phone. However, it hasn't been a problem in the 9 days that I've been using the case. Because of the speaker, microphone, and charging port that cover almost the entire bottom edge of the phone, there wasn't much room left for the case, but Tech21 managed it without covering anything.I got the "Ultra Violet" color and I love it! It's a rich, vibrant violet and it still shows the color when combined with my Space Gray phone. The Amazon picture is not great and the color swatch you click to select the color is very misleading. The color swatch looks like lavender but when you hover, it says Ultra Violet. There is a lighter purple version (called Orchid) for those who want that. Check the Tech21 web site for better illustrations of the colors and how they will look on a phone.Overall, a terrific case. I'm a big fan based on past experience and I'm loving my new case too.

This is the best case for the XS Max imo. Slim, sleek and durable. This will be my second Tech21 case. My first one lasted five years. It still did its intended job and I could’ve kept using it, but it started to look war torn as I did put it through much stress over the years. It treated me well by keeping my IPhone safe to say the least. Highly recommend.

I purchased and I own this case. No one is paying me or rewarding me in any way for this review. This case is the culmination of several years of engineering and manufacturing excellence by Tech21. These folks have been making cases for several years and the engineering and quality shows. The buttons are real buttons that are contained in case bezels, as opposed to being dimples or bumps in the plastic like other cases. The pliability of the case material has perfect flexibility, which makes the case easy to install or remove while maintaining a secure and tight fit. Case dimensions are accurate and fit perfectly. Case openings are the perfect size and location to accommodate connector, speakers, camera, mute switch, and microphone. The case does not interfere with signal reception. As is traditional with Tech21 cases, this case provides excellent protection. I have used Tech21 cases on my last three phones. I have tried many other brands, including the very expensive ones, but I always come back to these. For the price, they are the very best value available. I purchased the Neon Yellow case and the color is absolutely stunning. This Neon Yellow color seems to pick up extensive amounts of light and appears to almost glow. It is especially good because it provides very high visibility and aesthetics. It looks particularly nice on my space gray iPhone, but would look equally good on any color phone. Obviously, I think this is the best phone case I have ever owned. Buy this one, you won't be disappointed.

durable case for sure ! and it's not toooo thick !

This is the only cover I’ve ever had that protected my phone from damage for over 3 years. This is a repurchase. However, they changed it a bit. You need a real firm grip now to work the side buttons on the phone. It’s gotten frustrating. Love the protection but its other functionality has decreased significantly. It’s a shame. I used to be a raving fan.

I like it, button covers are a bit stiff but hopefully loosens.
