I got this for roasting a turkey. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical that a small silicone rack would hold the turkey. Guess what? It did! And what was even better, cleanup was so easy.

This is a great roasting rack. Especially if you hate cleaning the metal roasting racks from normal roasting pans. I have used two of them together side by side for larger roasts, but for smaller roasts you only need the one. They prevent the roast from burning on the bottom or becoming tough next to the metal pan. I like them so much I have sent them as gifts to my daughter and daughter-in-law. Easy to clean, and can be put in the dishwasher. Highly recommend!

This product is good, but it is hard to get the cooking smell off of it.

I bought a 2nd one so I could use both at the same time. Think large turkey. Washes well in dishwasher too!

OMG! What a great find! We had a 16 lb prime rib to cook for Christmas in our Traeger smoker/grill. Husband intended to cook it directly on the grill but I needed the drippings. The only pan big enough would be one of the disposable aluminum roasting pans, but setting the meat directly on the pan would prevent it from getting the smoke all around the meat. We needed a roasting rack big enough for this caveman-sized piece of meat. Didn't want metal racks of any type since they are such a pain to clean and would likely poke through the aluminum pan. Saw these and ordered two to give it a try. SOOO glad we did. Used one on Christmas eve with a 5lb pork loin just to test it -- worked really well. Then Christmas day we used two of them end-to-end in the aluminum pan and set the hunk-o-prime-rib on it. Perfect! They cleaned up easily. And while making breakfast this morning, discovered that they work pretty well as a trivet, too. Will probably use it for steaming large items and crockpot cooking, too. Surprisingly versatile item.

I've been using this almost every day for many. But, I am giving up on it. It's just too hard to clean, even using the dishwasher. I've tried soaking it overnight followed by scrubbing or running in the dishwasher but it still has food particles stuck to it.I got this to replace a wire rack, that was also hard to clean. But, because the slats are so big, large gross food particles are hard to scrub off this. I am going back to using a wire rack.

I had a similar item in the shape of a wreath, which was great for stopping your roasts bird/meat from sitting in it's juices so you got a decent crisp on the underside too. But the underside of the wreath leaves were hollow so it used to trap grease and debris that was almost impossible to fully clean given the awkward shape. Even when put in the dishwasher. And given I'm a bit of a clean freak germaphobe, this never set right with me. Then I came cross this, actually looking for the OXO version which had sold out, and took a punt given it was basically the same concept, but all solid. I'm happy to say it works just as well as the wreath, if not better as less surface area touches the meat, so more is exposed to the heat. And being one solid piece, it's so much easier to clean. Even it the little crevices between the sides and the slats.If you want crispier/healthier chicken and other roasts, this is a great item to have.

Use it in slow cooker for roasting, it did need cutting to size to fit my 3.5 ltr pot, but perfect for those who have not yet roasted in a slow cooker with a metal pot , and of course it does not stratch your pot

Easy to clean in dishwasher or by hand. Supports roasts in dish easily. Only question is whether it will last well but so far so good

Fantastic product, works well and goes in the dishwasher to clean. I now have bought another one.
