What does the CO P2 filter classification mean?

The CO P2 filter protects against carbon monoxide, smoke and potentially harmful particles and combustion gases. In addition, the filter is tested for use against H2S in accordance with DIN-58647-7 (DEKRA EXAM GmbH dated 13 December 2013).

What certificates does the fire escape hood have?

The fire escape hood is approved according to the standard: EN403:2004.

How long can the mask be used?

If you change the filter after 8 years, the service life increases to a total of 16 years. Please do not remove the filter plug before use. This will activate the filter.

Who does the escape hood fit?

The escape hood is available in a universal size with a specially moulded inner mask for all face sizes. If escape hoods are issued to other people in an emergency, please check whether the half mask fits them tightly.

In which areas can the Dräger PARAT protective hood be used?

The protective hood can be used in case of fire (by the fire brigade or privately), during maintenance work and in operational use (against fire gases).

arbeite in einem Hochhaus und die Maske kann / sollte sich jeder bei Bedarf zur eigenen Sicherheit zulegen. Zwar habe ich die Maske (wegen der Verplombung) nicht geöffnet und daher nicht ausprobiert, bin aber davon überzeugt, dass die Firma Dräger sehr hohe und gute Sicherheitsstandards hat. (Dräger ist zertifizierter Lieferant beziehungsweise Ausstatter vieler Rettungsorganisationen)
