Worked like a charm. I needed an in between size (1 1/6 or 27mm). Didn’t know that til I tried the 1” & 1 1/8. An earlier reviewer used some foil to line (shim) the socket. I cut an old pvc glue can into shims. It took a little doing (don’t give up), but it worked great. All four security lug nuts are out! One shim did all four, tho it was beat pretty thin. Used an impact gun. Not too sure the shim idea would work with manual hand tools.

Product works fine removed the wheel lock with impact gun very quickly but that's where the fun begins to remove the lock from the lock remover is no small task gave a very hard time. Will work as I got it done but very difficult.

This has been a MAJOR time saver.It will pay for itself the first time you use it.A buddy had one in his box and I bought the set immediately after using his.

One of the four removal sockets was missing; and it appeared to be used, since it had grease spots on the case. It apparently was a return that got re-stocked.

The item is a good design but the reverse thread inside the socket should be tapered instead of straight thread so it can grab and hold better. Had issues with the thread not cutting into the lugs ended up having to hammer the socket on and it’s a chore to remove the lug from the socket after you get the lug off

For my application, I wish there was a bit more taper to the inner-threads. Just a tiny bit more, not much. But a bit of aluminum foil to shim it up and it finally bites.I bought these to remove wheel locks. The perfectly round locks with the 'cloud' pattern on top. So, there's really nothing to bite into. It took a fair amount of hammering while turning to keep the bite, but it did work.

I had 24 locking lug nuts to remove from my old truck when putting it back on the road. It took a while but I removed all 24 lug nuts with one socket. Afterward, the socket showed no obvious wear. To remove the nuts I placed the socket on an extension, used a brass hammer with moderate hits to force the socket onto the lug nut, removed the extension and then used a 1/2 impact to remove the nut. The difficult part was removing the socket from the nut. Hold the lug nut and reverse the impact. If you have a big vise to hold the lug nut you'll be OK. I used a pair of vice grips which slowed me down but worked out in the end. These sockets are a high quality product and well worth the money.

What I didn’t like was I tried to cancel the order but it was already shipped and when I got it I tried to return it but the return shipping was half the price of the item so I kept it now I have a useless tool. I gave it a five star because it looks like a very strong metal and was in a nice case but I can’t say anything further because I never used it.

This set was able to remove one of my wheel lock lugs on my 2003 jeep. Not any fault of the set, just needed a smaller size than the set provided .

Bought the kit to remove anti-theft lug nuts after loosing their dedicated socket. Unfortunately, the diameter of 20.35 mm of my anti theft lug nuts nuts fall right under the 13/16 socket thread minor diameter, and the 3/4 is way too small to engage and grip.The tool quality looks good, and the carrying case is practical. I will certainly be able to use them in the future for another application, but for this time I'll be forced to visit a garage.
