These look great when hung. It takes a bit of adjusting and I used hooks to get them to hang straight. They seem strong and hold a surprising weight. Just be aware that if you choose the Bamboo shade (I ordered the dark wood first and loved them, so bought the Bamboo), The rope is twice as long and almost twice as thick, so I will have to cut it to size and use bigger hooks.

I put it in my room and it was perfect. Excellent material, beautiful and goes very well with the rest of the room. The only thing I didn't like were the fixings which are kind of useless because it's a screw instead of a hook, and the fact that the ropes are different sizes, it took a lot of time to adjust them both to the same height. But now that is finally done I love everything about them.

These shelves have an awesome rustic look, they’re exactly what we were looking for. They’re easy to install which is what I look for. So they look great, but what are they like as a shelf?Your not going to be able to put much on these, photo frames, candles and artificial plants etc. are all you’re going to get on these. Given the way you mount them, anything other than that, or any more than one objects on each side of the shelf will cause it to go wonky and lip sided. Again because of the rope and the way it’s mounted there’s a slight tilt, with the part of the shelf touching the wall being lower than the outer facing part.But I love these shelves, they look great and give a nice rustic look.

I don't normally write reviews for items on any website, however, these look so fab in my bathroom I thought I just had to. I put them up using traceless hanging hooks as I am no good with a drill (hole always bigger than required) and it took me all of 2 minutes. Took me longer to work out what to put on them. I would highly recommend these to anyone with either a small or large area. I bought the blue and intend to buy some other colour when I decide which colour to buy

I think these are great, I bought them alongside some Command wall adhesive hooks. Bit of a risky play, but worth it. I used two of the hooks for extra support and it worked amazing. They have held plants and figurines. A couple books and some nick naks. Really good considering I’m not a lot to make holes according to landlord !

Having previously bought similar shelves, I was disappointed to find the ropes were strung left to right, rather than front to back, meaning it is tricky to get the shelves to balance levelly. I cannot restring them myself due to the large blobs of very visible glue holding the knots in place.Having said that they have now been in place a week and seem secure, and from across the room look good.

super cute addition to my nautical guest bathroom. Holds 3 large yankee candles just fine ... just as a tester (: They are adorable.

These are great shelves for the price. I love the rustic aspect and they fit perfectly where I need them.
