Good fluid level checker

Worked perfect to check transmission fluid level in a 2009 jeep grand cherokee. Had trouble reading the chart but once I figured ot out, it was very easy to understand. Good product at a good price .

Great for checking fluid.

It's great for checking fluid color and level. Wish someone would make a permanent dipstick. This can't stay in the transmission tubr=e all the time. Only for checking level & color. Still a good deal.

A must add to Your tool Kit

We bought this as an addition to our tool box. Very useful for the vehicles that don't have a dipstick. we use it all the time and it has saved us from guessing. A must have in any repair shop

Worked perfect. 2011 Dodge caliber mainstreet fwd 2.0. Cvtf+4

Worked so good. Whatever you do do not try and force the entire dipstick into the transmission. Only 30% will actually go into the transmission tube. Just push down gently until it reaches the bottom. Then pull and compare on chart.

Use a beaker instead of this dipstick! (read carefully if you want to DIY)

I recently changed the transmission fluid and filter on my 2013 Dodge Durango. Unfortunately, the dipstick proved to be quite inaccurate. Prior to changing the fluid, the dipstick showed a reading of 80mm, which the documentation stated should have been 22mm. Despite this, I was confident that the transmission was functioning properly with the original fluid level. With such confusion, I drained the transmission fluid and used a beaker to measure the amount removed, which was 3.5 liters. I then added 2 liters of fresh fluid to the transmission and used the dipstick to measure the level, which showed a reading of 40mm (instead of the expected 22mm). Initially, I believed this reading to be acceptable and proceeded to shift through all the gears. However, upon checking the fluid level again with the dipstick, I noticed numerous bubbles on the stick, indicating a more serious problem. In a panic, I spent two hours scouring the internet for a solution, eventually concluding that I needed to add more transmission fluid. After adding an additional 1.5 liters of fluid, all bubbles disappeared and the transmission operated perfectly.Based on my experience, I highly recommend using a beaker to measure the amount of fluid drained and adding an equal amount of fresh fluid. In my opinion, the dipstick is not a reliable method for measuring transmission fluid levels and should be avoided.
