Cost effective when you consider the dose and daily needs to take with Calcium. The soft gels are not huge and are easy to swallow, which is a big plus, especially for those who have difficulty swallowing large pills, or if they get stuck in your throat. There is no funny smell which would keep me from taking it! It purports mood improvements and energy levels, but I don’t experience any of that! I'm not an outsider girl. The only vitamin D I get is in pills. I had hard ones and I guess they weren't doing anything. These are little gel balls. I think they are quality. They improved my livel so they must have vitamin D. I take so many meds that I don't think twice about it they are easy to use.
