I'm very happy with this purchase. The nestbox is sturdy and well-made. I especially appreciated that the little keps nuts are already attached to everything so I just had to put the screws in. That made assembly so fast and I know they aren't going going to work themselves loose and disappear in the coop bedding anytime soon (i.e., that happened with my very expensive "The Best Nest Box"). The metal is lightweight, and that's good! It doesn't need to weigh a ton! It came packaged well. One piece was maybe bent a tiny bit, but screws brought it into line. The perch bars are a bit sticky, but they are an item one should expect to replace over time anyway. Very nice, and the price cannot be beat! Also, I am happy to support an item made in the U.S.

Love my hen box. Most importantly my girls love it. It large and roomy for my bigger girls. Well ventilated for the hot SoCal summers in San Diego. Cleans like a breeze so my girls stay tidy. Esthetically please with the bright red colors. It’s kinda dusty forgot to wipe it down before the pictures. My hubby got me it for my birthday. It’s definitely a two person job. We saw a gal do it all by herself on YouTube but we aren’t as good as her LOL. It’s not bad at all to assemble. Watch the video a couple of times and we attacked it. Was a fun project.

This is a beautiful chicken coop, but it arrived with a couple dents in the roof and other parts of the frame arrived slightly bent, so assembly was challenging.We had do do some work straightening out of the bent frame. Once assembled, it’s beautiful and sturdy.

Just starting to raise laying hens and choose this nester based on reviews. This item is perfect fit for my newly built coop! Looks somewhat vintage and easy to assemble. Sturdy and was quickly shipped! Very pleased!

These are very nice nesting boxes for the price. The sheet metal is nice and thick and the unit is sturdy and rigid when it is put together.With that being said, there are a few flaws. As other reviewers have noted, out unit was missing a few of the riveted-nuts, which is how the bolts hold the pieces together. Fortunately for us it was in a place that wasn't important to the integrity of the unit. If yours is missing some you will have to rivet them with a 1/4" pop-rivet. There are 2 hanging brackets at the top of the unit and they are 51" apart. If your chicken coop uses standard stud spacing, i.e., 16" or 24" on center, you will have to hang 2 spanning boards, one for the hangers and one as a spacer so that the coop is supported at the bottom.This is a premium product with a premium price. I would purchase again but these little issues are annoying if you are not aware of them.

These nest boxes were easy to assemble, especially after watching the video on YouTube. They have more room than the ones we built and they have much better ventilation which is great for out hot Texas summers. There were a few bent corners but they came out okay once the screws were in. My favorite part was that the nuts were already fixed to the frame and I only had to screw in the screws. The folding landing perches were a real boon as a few of our younger girls like to sleep in our old ones and pooped all over the nesting material causing dirty eggs. I also highly recommend the My Favorite Chicken nesting material as they are about 2inches thick compared with the ones from Happy hen.

Works great. Pretty easy to put together. Easier if you have 2 people. Works great. My hens love this. Last, bought this is 2021 and still using it. Great size. The bottoms lift out for easy cleaning. Great price.
