Pioneer XDP-30R-B High Resolution Digital Audio Player - Black

Q: Seems there are issues with the usability of types of sd cards with this unit? i have a 256 & a 400 scan disk. will these work?

As mentioned elsewhere it works fine with a 200Gb SanDisk Ultra card. I bought x2 and both work fine. For 256Gb & 400Gb, it seems that at least the 256Gb should work.

Q: Hi - can you stream Spotify on this ? Also can you play android apps on it such as Waze?

Unfortunately not (or at least not on the Firmware I'm running), it only supports Tidal and TuneIn and as for its OS... it's a closed system, you cannot add to it or modify it.

Q: Does it display song lyrics?

I only listen to uncompressed SD audio or Hi-Res so it’s not something I would consider looking into. Besides it has a small screen so cannot see it being a practical extra to have. The player itself is excellent.
