Best Antenna I’ve used!

This is the best antenna I’ve used. I usually only get about 15 channels and would never get Fox. With this antenna I got 48 digital channels and 7 nextgen channels! I am finally able to watch the fox channel. Now I can watch football this coming up season for free on NBC, Fox, and CBS. So happy!!! I highly recommend this antenna.

From zero channels to almost 50 clear ones

This is fantastic! I went from between zero and four fuzzy channels to 58 channels. 48 of them came in crystal clear immediately, 5 were spotty, and 5 blinked with a black screen. I got the hover style so I wouldn't need extra shelf space. The TV clamp is okay, but not the most stable on its own. I just have it centered on top of the screen to figure out the best placement then I'll probably use an easy to remove 3M adhesive or adhesive velcro strip to stabilize it.

Works great, cancelled cable!

-Great value for an indoor antenna.-Very easy to install. If you have ever attached a webcam to the top edge of a computer monitor this design will be very familiar to you-The modern design and top edge TV mount blends well aesthetically.-Actual performance will vary depending on where you live and how high you mount the antenna. Do not believe any unrealistic channel claims for any indoor antenna. In GENERAL, if you live within 20miles of a major city and you mount this antenna directly on top of a TV located on the 1st floor you should expect at get all of the major network channels and some additional channels. The higher you mount the antenna the more channels you will receive and the better the signal quality. If you live near a cell phone tower I also recommend buying a LTE/5G coax filter to reduce interference (can be found for under $20). I suggest searching online for TV towers in your area, easy to find maps. If you have towers within 20miles this is all you need, if you are further away you may need to mount it higher or get a larger antenna AND mount it higher. My personal results...I live about 20miles north of Detroit, right on the edge of good range. When I mounted the antenna directly on top of my TV I was getting 18 channels, 4 of which were in HD. I added a cable extension and moved the antenna on top of a nearby cabinet hidden from view about 8ft off the ground and now I get 53 channels, 5 of which are in HD. About half of those channels are just 24hour infomercials but the rest OK. Much better than expected, best purchase I've made this year so far.If you mostly stream and just use cable for local news and major networks this is a no-brainer. Get it and cancel your cable subscription, we're saving about $80 per month. This antenna paid for itself in just a couple weeks.

Junk. Trash.

I tried. I tried so hard to get this antenna to work. I even got a second one as I thought the first one was broken. I bought the adapter booster as well. It just wouldnt work. No matter the placement I could not get the antenna to get the very simple channels I wanted.I contacted phillips, they said it is placement. When I tell you I spent hours on top of hours on top of more hours, several times a week and the amount of scrambling I did, I still couldnt get the channels I wanted. and IM talking these channels metv, cozi and rewind. The nostalgic feel good shows that i enjoy to mindlessly watch.I even went as far as getting a newer TV and BOY that was a big mistake as the antenna worked even worse. Yes, I have used other antennas with much better quality but it was an eyesore of seeing hanging cable lines and the only placement to stick was my window but then I couldnt open my window. And opening the window in the summer time is everything if you dont have AC. So thinking I was upgrading to a more stylish antenna, I was excited. NOPE. nothing is more worse then finally getting a clear picture to watch a show and then it scrambles out. Maybe if I put my TV outside with the antenna I would get channels. So here is what I think of the antenna now... Its 100% in the trash.1 star as the only thing it has going for itself was the sleek non instrusive design.

Great performance, good aesthetics.

I live in a pretty ideal location for receiving signals from my city's towers but I was astounded by how many channels I was able to get with this.Aesthetics are great as well. Still, I ended up using some double sided tape so I could mount without blocking pixels at the top of my TV.

Just average

I recently got a HDHomeRun box and needed an antenna. I previously had one of those flat, indoor ones with a built in signal amplifier and it seems to work OK. I'm in the Los Angeles area and was getting around 80 channels out of around 175 available. At least I was receiving the main ones.I didn't particularly like the look of the flat one, which is black and stands out, so I decided to try this one out. This one sits on top of the TV, which I thought looked a little better and hopefully get better signal since it's sitting high on top of my TV. I do like the sleek look of this antenna and it does come with a signal amplifier. I did find the cable from the antenna to the amplifier could be a bit longer and it's pretty thin. I hooked up everything and ran a channel scan. To my surprise, I was only able to pick up about 50 channels. I moved it off to the side a bit, ran it again and got about 65 channels. Did several tries in different positions and the most I was able to get was 70 channels. I decided to try it again without the amplifier and actually got to 79 channels, still short of my other antenna. Just for kicks, I plugged my old antenna back on and rescanned and got 100 channels. Not sure what's happening, but in most cases, this antenna is getting less channel than my old antenna. I guess if I want to get more channels, I probably need to go with an larger, external antenna.

Great product for the price

This little gadget works really well! We have it set up on an outdoor tv, and it gets lots of channels and doesn’t s ramble or cut in and out like some antennae's do. Great purchase.
