I recently purchased the Onvian USB Bluetooth Adapter for my wife's laptop, and I'm happy to report that it works great! This small and inexpensive adapter allowed us to connect an old laptop to our Bluetooth speakers without any hassle.Before purchasing the adapter, the audio from my wife's laptop sounded terrible when she tried to play her exercise videos. But with this adapter, she can now connect her laptop to her nice Bluetooth speaker that she previously only used with her phone. The audio quality is now crystal clear, and she's able to enjoy her exercise videos without any issues.One of the best things about this adapter is that it's very easy to use. We didn't need to install any drivers on our Windows 10 laptop; simply plug the adapter into a USB port and it's ready to use.

I bought a refurbished HP business desktop PC running Windows 10. This computer is a high quality screamer that I am most happy with. However, it lacked on-board Bluetooth capability. I had used other 4.0 BT adapters on an older device, but I felt that I should go to the newer 5.0 BT technology for the improved performance that is claimed. I purchased an Eveo 5.0 adapter from Amazon, but the result has been most disappointing - difficulties with recognizing BT devices, pairing, and maintaining connection. Even when connected, I was experiencing poor sound quality and dropouts. A TP-Link adapter was also flaky. This Onvian adapter was being used without any problem on an older E-Machines PC that I was using in a different location. I decided to order another Onvian and try it on the HP. I did have some difficulty with the install, but I attribute that to not correctly removing all traces of the 5.0 adapter. Once I got over that, I got a good install and all my BT devices were found and quickly connected. Performance has been great and stable. I see no need for anything that 5.0 is alleged to provide over 4.0 - a stable, quality connection is most important - and this adapter gives me just that.

-Windows 10 / USB 2.0 -Edit: connectivity has improved after moving the bluetooth dongle away from my wifi adapter. Not sure why I didn't try this at first. It seems to have eliminated the worst of the issues but there still are some but it is definitely more usable and less of a headache. I am changing my rating accordingly especially since customer service is much better than many other sellers.Not sure if this is a problem with the adapter but I can be 10 or 15 feet from it and put my leg in between it and the device I am using (ps4 controller and bluetooth headset) and obstruct its line of sight and I will start getting interference causing sound in my headset to cut in and out and my ps4 controller to wig tf out and basically become unusable. This does not happen when my headphones are connected to my Samsung S8+, I can walk 40 to 50 feet away before my headphones begin to have issues. Also my PS4 controller has no issues when connected to my PS4 as I can walk a similar distance before connection issues arise. I do not reccomend this for people who want bluetooth that will have solid connectivity in many different scenarios. If you are going to be in a direct line of sight with no obstructions between the adapter and your bluetooth device then this purchase is a good one. Fortunately I do not need it to do more than it is capable. Also not sure if this is an issue with the adapter but I do not believe this device plays well with multiple simultaneous connections. Using my bluetooth headset and PS4 controller at the same time seems to exacerbate the issues. I am a gamer and my computer is capable of handling fairly CPU intensive tasks at the same time so I do not think it is the fault of my computer. The headphone issues are still prominent when I am only running spotify on my computer with no other bluetooth devices connected as is with only the controller and a game running (rocket league for example). When my controller is connected via USB there are none of these issues. I can't test a wired connection with my headphones since they do not support it (blame Sony). Also this adapter does not allow PS4 unsupported bluetooth devices (such as my headphones) to connect to the console. Once again, blame Sony for that. All in all the price is what you get because it gets the job done but then takes a two hour break and expects to be paid for that break time even though it was an hour and a half late.Pros: inexpensive, works out of the box on windows 10.Cons: bad connectivity, not very reliable, and not really worth the added cost of shipping (I used Prime for free shipping).

Bought for work so I can connect my Bluetooth headphones to my computer for zoom and music. Great, simple directions.

I just got this BT dongle by Onvian about a week ago. Plugged it in to my USB port, it installed automatically and in less than 5 mins I was paired with my LG Bluetooth headset. That was all great.The problem I had is that this runs on the same 2.4ghz frequency as my wireless vertical mouse and when paired, my mouse would have a noticeable stutter. This isn’t totally uncommon but Onvian reached out to me asking for feedback on their product and I let them know about this issue. Several messages back and forth and I’m not sure what I’m going to do with this or my mouse but I’m already sold on Onvian’s customer service and support. They reply very quickly, they’re honest and very eager to help. Thanks!

What else os there to say? It was 6$ so I just threw ot out. I bought a PCIe board with dual channel 5/2.4 and bluetooth all on 1 board for 17$. That one works great. Buy that instead. Ubot AC1200 WIE7265D. Here on Amazing. It has drivers on a little mini cd, but I don't have a cd or dvd drove on my pc anymore. They pdf manual I had to gppgle because they don't give you a url, manufacturer website, Nada. Says "if you don't jave a CDA ROOM, contact the manufacturer" and give an email address. WTH? Realtek drivers are shown in the pictures, but that installer said I had an "unauthorized" Realtek device and refused to install it. Shady. Hey the PCIe one. It has 2 antennas and long range plus string signal, and it works great, and comes with drivers and a website. Don't buy this.

Plugged this into my Linux laptop, and one minute later I was listening to music through Bluetooth headphones. Very smooth installation, good sound quality. Since I've only had the item for two days, it's impossible to assess the durability.

I've tried a few BlueTooth dongles, and this was the first one to install easily, be easy to configure, and work with every piece I needed.I have true stereo from my headphones! My mouse works easily! Next will be a mini-keyboard... no worries

This product arrived with a small CD from which the driver needs to be downloaded. This is a problem as my modern laptop does not have a CD player. No details provided about the source of a downloadable driver that is compatible with this device

This helped me connect an old PC (Windows 10) without bluetooth to a wireless Apple keyboard and mouse (also older). It was cheap, delivered next day, and connected right away. It took a while to figure out how to enable all the features on the KB/Mouse but figured it out with the right drivers. It did create some wake issues but I'm pretty sure it's not related to the adapter itself.

I purchased this adapter specifically because it supports the APT-X codec.I use it with my SONY WH-900N headphones and it works perfectly. Any lag that might be introduced is VERY low and almost negligible. I am an audio engineer and used to perform dialogue replacement for foreign cartoons so I know when the lip flaps don't match the audio. There *is* lag but it's very, very little. Most people won't even notice it.The sound quality isn't as good as APT-X HD (the 24 bit codec) but it's still not bad at all considering it's wireless. I find the bass to be a bit quiet. Again, for most people this will be just fine.I am also able to use my new Microsoft XBox S Controller with the headphones at the same time. No issues with either. Works GREAT with my controller. No lag here. Controller connects immediately. No dropouts.The range is decent. You're going to want to have it be as "line of sight" as possible. That being said, in my small condo I can go anywhere and not lose signal. Even behind multiple walls. I would say, safely, you're looking at about 30 feet of line of sight range before drop outs occur.This adapter also works with my Logitech MX Master 3 Mouse, however *once the mouse connects, the audio becomes immediately choppy and broken* so please keep this in mind. Not sure why this happens, I think the mouse uses a slightly different bandwidth (channel?) than the controller and headphones.Windows immediately detects my headphones when I turn them on and switches over to that device automatically. The reverse is true when I turn off my headphones. Very convenient.I am very impressed with this product considering the price (I paid barely $9.00 CAD). I've been using it for almost a month now (December 31st / 2019) on my Windows 10 PC (Anniversary Update Installed).*RECOMMENDED*

As long as you are looking for a product that does the job with prime shipping, you can't go wrong. But there is not much else to like about it. It is a bit overpriced in my opinion. It flashes blue whenever it is not connected and that can get annoying sometimes. It does come with one of those mini CDs for install but I find it pretty rarely useful these days. The range is nothing special, but I would have preferred it with Bluetooth 5.0 considering the relatively high price.
