Had a couple of minor issues with screws loose. Nothing that a slight tightening could solve. Functions excellent look great.

My old tuning machines were dry strating to crack.This was a very easy upgrade and made a big difference in tuning and holding tune.

This item was sturdily made and very easy to install, and since it was my first guitar repair, I had a few reservations, but everything was great!

They didn't work for me. Decent for the money

Just installed a few days ago. Put new strings on last night. This is my first machine head replacement. So far, the quality exceeds the original set on my C9 (which malfunctioned recently). Given how much Cordoba is asking for their replacement ($150+), this is a great deal.Update after a few days of light playing: no issues. I prefer the gears on this one compared to the stock C9. I cannot recall the ratio, but this one gets you more tightness per turn.

The tuners of my beloved Takamine classical guitar gave up and I needed a replacement. I have several other guitars with much more expensive tuners, but I thought to give these a try. I was happily surprised. These tuners are well made, the gears rotate with easy and they look great, the look like if they were much more expensive ones.

I have in the past bought cheap tuners for around £6-7 that have performed adequately but decided to pay out more for these machine heads on my more expensive guitar. That was the biggest mistake I ever made. These things are beyond useless, I only fitted the one side before trying them out, there is around 1/4 turn of play before they actually do anything! 2 of them were quite easy to turn, the 3rd was alternating between loose and stiff. The strings were extremely difficult to tune and didn't hold there tune for very long. Once removed I could see the gears were already starting to get mangled. I would give these 0 stars if I could, I promptly returned them for a full refund. I will save myself £15 and buy some of the cheaper ones on Amazon as they can't be worse than these. Do yourself a favour and avoid these at all costs.

Part of one of the tuner pegs broke off in my hand while tuning. Fortunately, I was able to interchange one of the tuner pegs from my old set. But now I have one peg that is a different colour! So I'll probably have to change all of the pegs using those from the old set.

Fixing up an old guitar and I just had to buy these, they look amazing on my old classic. Giving it a sleek new look that makes it seem like new. With the prime delivery too it came next day with no problem, they seem good quality too and were easy to replace 👌

Having never replaced or fitted guitar machine heads before, I was a bit concerned whether I’d bought the right ones for my 50-year-old Japanese Terada classical guitar. But these look and - more importantly - work great. They were easy to fit, are very smooth to operate and keep my guitar strings nicely in tune with very little initial ‘slippage’. They’re exceptionally good value for money – can’t understand why anyone would describe them as shoddy. In my view they are brilliant and I highly recommend them. (I hardly ever post reviews, but had to on this occasion as they’ve given a new ‘lease of life’ to my old guitar!)
