Much brighter than the original and a perfect fit on my 2006 X5 E53.

Very bright!
Yes are very bright, better yet, they fit my BMW X5 perfectly! We will see how long they last. No problems installing, just unplug the original lights, then plug these in. Done.

Great output, fit excellent in E53 X5 rear hatch area.
These are WAY brighter than the factory incandecent bulbs. The LED's are built into the housing, so all you have to do is remove the old one, plug this one in. And snap it back into place. Great for door puddle and rear cargo area (in the hatchback) lights on E53 BMW X5.

Better than the OEM part. Fits like a glove. Easy application, plugged and play. I highly recommend these LED lights for your E39 BMW.

Works well
I had to replace a bulb, and figured this was about as expensive as the specialty bulbs, so why not try it? They fit fine and they provide a lot more light than the standard incandescent bulbs. I'm happy with them.

Very bright
About 10x brighter than the vintage OE lights in my old X5. Deducting one star because the fit is pretty sloppy. These also fit in the footwell lamp holders.Almost TOO bright at night!
