Interesting book, gives some new insights
Helped me get off the weight loss plateau. Taught me a few things I missed. Only thing is it does not do justice to a vegan diet

Simple facts are difficult to follow but all simple facts have scientific basis with studies. Book helps to have diet decisions for healthy body and healthy lifestyle

Theory worth understanding
The premise of the book is that if you want to lose body fat then you have to control your body's insulin levels. It can be achieved by doing both the following things together. 1. What you eat - Avoiding processed sugars and refined carbs. 2. When you eat - This introduces the reader to intermittent, short term and long term fasting and, using scientific studies and evolutionary biology, lists down their benefits in addition to losing body fat. Mainly these, although the book goes deep into discussing various food nutrients and sources, and their effect on insulin levels, as well as national food policies which are influenced by big processed food companies, a little bit of history too.

This book will change your mindset about dieting
I was looking for an authentic guidance on nutrition and dieting, backed by scientific studies. This book has all. Contradictory tips from dietitians can be very confusing. This book is na authentic source of information written by a doctor, based on real studies.

Best book about obesity, diet and overall health I've read...ever. It introduces scientific concepts in an easy way, such as everyone can understand it (I'm not in the health sector and I had no problem understanding what was being said). Buy it if you can

I'm shocked by how brainwashed we have been, Dr Jason proves that obesity is NOT a caloric imbalance. It's a hormonal imbalance and it's a multifactorial disease. I recommend it!

Excellent book for anyone looking to lose weight and potentially solve health issues. Easy to read, but explains diabetes and obesity very thoroughly. A must-read!

I have heard of Dr Fung from fasting podcasts I listen to, he's certainly an authority on that matter. The book reads easy as it combines science with entertaining historical data. I will purchase the Cancer Code next. Highly recommend this author to anyone who wants to "hack" their insulin sensitivity, get healthier, and rationalize the WHY's of weight loss difficulties.
