Must have for emergency kit
This is one of those things I bought intending to never use but I will be glad to have if I need it. Small and compact it can fit in the trunk/glovebox/center console of your car, in a backpack or purse, or even your pocket if they are big enough. It's made of the same material as an emergency blanket, so not as warm as your cold weather sleeping bag, but warm enough to get you through a night or two in a pinch as long as you stay somewhere dry and out of the wind. It's a perfect addition to anyone's emergency kit, whether a BOB, roadside emergency kit, or your hiking/camping kit.

Super compact and lightweight
Nice lightweight and compact emergency blanket. About the size of a 12oz can of soda. Have not tried it. Purchased it to have on my atv in case of emergency to go along with my first aid kit. One of those items better to have it than be in a situation and not have it

Some minor defects
It's pretty much what I expected. I got this to supplement my sleeping bag for those unexpected cooled nights. Very light weight! It's large enough to go over any sleeping bag.

A potential lifesaver
This inexpensive, compact sleeping bag turned out to be the most valuable piece of gear I brought with me when a companion and I got caught in an unexpected thunder, lightening, and hail storm on an attempt to summit Katahdin in Maine. The suddenness of the storm, which brought a rapid drop in temp along with pellet-sized hail, left us shivering under an outcropping. This bag provided shelter and warmth for us until the storm passed and we could leave the mountain.

This is a great thing to have just in case while hiking.
I bought this as a gift for my sister-in-law. She has really taken to hiking this past year. I wanted to get her something that would be part of her hobby. Although this would be use for emergency use is only she was happy with the gift. It’s definitely a good thing to have just in case.
