After emptying the pail, the inside is very stinky. Stainless steel is not supposed to absorb odors but I feel like it is. Anyone else? 17 months old.

It says powder coated steel not stainless steel . Even stainless steel can corrode just not as quickly as standard steel.

This does not seem like it would hold odor in well? It is smelly when you slide open the lid?

It is super smelly!!! We have only had it for a couple of weeks and I thought I just have something wrong - a lid ajar, the slider slightly open... But no, it really just stinks and does not contain it! We are returning.

for cloth diaper parents what liners have you used in the ubbi besides the ubbi liner

I use the Planetwise bag liner. I just throw it in the wash with the diapers.

So you can't clean this with any liquid? not even a clorox wipe on the inside? is it worthwhile/possible to add an arm & hamor disc inside the pail?

We’ve had this item for over a year now, we always wipe it with a lightly damped cloth of Lysol or Method, hasn’t rusted a bit. We usually add a little baking soda to the bag and keeps the odor at bay

Ottimo. Zero odore anche se pieno di pannolini. Ovviamente se lo si apre esce la puzza, ma da chiuso è davvero ermetico. Dubbi sulla qualità del materiale perché la porticina di apertura chiusura si è sbeccata da sola dopo poco tempo.
