I'm chemically sensitive and these are helpful.
I went into Harbor Freight with this on and it did a really good job, if you take the time to fit it properly around your nose it seals well and reduces odor a lot. I don't do well with chemicals and could see this helping reduce the impact though I don't think it would work long term. I have tried the carbon nose filters, my nose isn't round enough for those so this is the most discreet option I've found.

Good product
These are great because I have bad allergies and very sensitive to odors. These work great. However I do not like them over my whole face so I cut them in half and sew them each (making two ) and use only on my nose. Works great. Wearing them over your whole face is hard if you are reading and have to wear glasses. They steam up. This nose trick avoids that.

Got them for cleaning, pre Covid-19,using for Covid-19
I bought these for cleaning about 3 weeks before the Covid-19 pandemic hit. I was so glad to have a couple of these on hand. I ended up giving these to my elderly mother for when she had to go to her mandatory doctor's visits. Anytime she had to go somewhere I would either pick stuff up for her or I would drive her, but when she did get out, she had a good fresh mask on. These mask are nowhere to be found now, I was just blessed enough to get them when I did.

A very good choice for odor filtering mask.
I have used this mask for a few months now - when doing BBQ, chores in the garage, painting furniture. It works quite well for a simple mask. The odor neutralizing effect seems to wear out after a week or two of use for me. However, I use it for a few more times to filter dust when cleaning the yard. The price is a bit high for a disposable mask, but it is quite well made.

Fumes bother me anyway
I think I do better without it, but for safety sake, even though I still feel physically affected by the paint, I think it's a good idea to use it.

Good for neighbor's paint fumes so far ...
I'm very chemically sensitive and live in a duplex and my neighbor is painting with standard latex paint (not zero VOC), causing me a lot of throat/sinus/eye irritation. I had been using N95 masks from Walgreens, which I think blocked most of the fumes, but the 3M one is MUCH more comfortable (comfortable enough to sleep in) and since it contains carbon, I believe it to be better at absorbing the irritating VOCs. So far, I highly recommend it; I'm glad this affordable product was available.

The mask
Worked very well... I recommend it in several types of work you would do. I used it while spraying something I did not care for the smell of. Also some products say you should use a mask while using, I found this mask to do the best - as I have tried others.
