Love the color, the size, the feeling of having my laptop protected (and even disguised has a book) and still have space to put it inside my backpack or carrying it without having a huge cover or a tiny hardshell that gets ugly with time. Laptop used: MacBook Air 13" 2022 -- Color: Wine Red----It's unusual to see a case that has nothing that holds the base in, but there's really no need for it. The laptop stays put just fine. And not having a strap or anything to have to slide the bottom of the computer into makes it much, much easier to put it on. Just open the laptop all the way and slip the monitor (screen) section into the little plastic straps on the top, then settle the bottom half into the bottom part, pulling the zipper away as you do so, so it won't get stuck. I had no trouble with the zipper at all; does not get stuck on the MacBook Air. And to remove the laptop from the case, I found it best to close the MBAir all the way closed and pull it out of the top straps that way. Works perfectly.I'll be using this mainly when I'm traveling with my MBAir. And the look of it is very cool. Really does look like a beautiful old-fashioned book. And the two sides of the case are very firm and seems well-constructed. Good protection.Looking forward to my first use of it, traveling down to Arizona for the Tombstone Film Festival, which has a Wild West theme. Kind of the perfect look! Very happy I found this case.

This case has such a cool look! I get so many compliments on it and use it every day!!the main reason for 4 out of 5 stars is because the zipper broke a while back on the case.I need to just get a new one but keep putting it off. I might've just gotten a dud as one of my friends has the same case and they have not had any issues with their case zipper!

Love this laptop cover!

I had one of these from a different company a number of years ago and loved it but they changed the style so I was looking for a replacement. THIS IS IT. This case is beautiful and unique while providing complete protection from wear & tear and drop damage. It fits a little big so there’s plenty of room for maneuverability and cable manipulation. And the best part is that this case is far less expensive than some other companies. Less expensive does not equal cheap because this item is well made, durable, and easy to use. Definitely recommend!

This is an awsome product! Im glade I got it bc the shell case i got I'm not confident would protect it from a drop. Its also very nice and quality. I love the way it looks like a nice leather bound book so much. Little things like this can help make your day go by better.

top sleeve doesn’t stay on when using laptop — have to keep it open at a weird angle — super cute when closed though
