it's really good over there
well i have eaten chicken rice in singapore. it's really good over there. this rice has good flavor and you can eat it as a side without the chicken in the pot. in singapore they seem to poach the chicken dunk it in ice cubes and poach it again. it's a long process, i did it once when i got home. very messy but tasty.

Great taste
My family and I love chicken rice. It’s our favorite meal. Overall, this packet of Singapore chicken rice tastes great. It is easy to use and we love the flavor.

Easy & tasty!
My husband is from Penang, Malaysia and he said this tasted like the real deal! I put raw chicken piece on top of washed rice, put the sauce on top and cooked it all in the rice cooker (I did add some garlic and scallions for additional flavor). Super easy and so tasty! You can mix a little bit of lite soy sauce with sesame oil to use as dipping sauce for the chicken :) this sauce is good for about 2 cups of raw rice + 2-3 pieces of chicken thigh meat. Perfect for an easy weeknight dinner!

Delicious
This product is as close as you can get for Hainanese chicken rice. I lived in Singapore during my school years and chicken rice has always been my go to meal. I reduced the water ratio since I prefer drier rice. As another viewer mentioned, I placed the ingredient on top of the chicken instead of the rice. Delicious!!
