Great product, but probably turn off the wifi feature.
If you have multiple cameras this is exactly what you want. Similar to an nvr, just easier and simple. It's able to produce 2.4 and 5ghz wifi just for the cameras, but it's only recommended to do this if the hub is closer to the cameras than the router, but a lot. You don't want it's wifi interfering with your router wifi.I have it with 2 cams and it works great. I plan to get 1 or 2 more cams and the hub will be perfect for this.Just be careful when you change wifi settings, because once the cams are installed and the wifi disconnects because of a wrong pass or something, you will be forced to pull the cam off the wall and plug the ethernet back into your lan and redo the entire initial setup again. It's so egregiously ridiculous, after having to do that once, I was tempted to chuck it out the window and buy another brand, but it's so good that I just make sure that will never happen again.Reolink it you are listening, your initial setup process regarding wifi is ridiculous. I have never owned or seen another wifi camera that ever had to force a user to yank it off the wall outside and be forced to plug it into the router with ethernet all over again when something goes wrong with the wifi. It's egregious. Please fix it, there's 0 excuse to do this to your customers.

Product defective, reolink customer service automated voice hung up on me twice
This is a reolink hub so I bought a reolink camera to connect to it. There was no option on the app to connect the camera to the hub with wifi. Their youtube videos say "go to the camera settings and select 'network'" but there was no network option on my camera settings. I called reolink customer service and their automated voice said they are experiencing a high volume of calls and to call back later and then hung up on me. I called back later and it hung up on me again. I've never experienced such a terrible company in my life.

Easy to use!
This was pretty easy for a tech saavy person to set up and we have had no issues with it so far. The only thing we are struggling with is having the appropriate length videos for triggering events

Some camera locations may be a bit far like our camera 3 so then you can sync it to your home wifi.
If you want a separate WIFI device that can locally store all your feeds then the HUB is a must. It's small, simple to set up and use and so far has been very reliable. Since Reolink isn't a cloud based monthly payment security system then it's best in my opinion to add the HUB especially for multiple cameras. You can still access the cameras thru the app on the phone but having the Hub allows you to also monitor on your computers and possibly internet tv though not a Fire stick. It would be cool if my Apple play in my vehicle could run the Reolink app.

Not ready for prime time.
Not compatible with all REOLink cameras. Particularly ARGUS Track. Needs upgraded firmware which is not available. Now I need to either return for an undesirable cam or return this item. Waste of time, money and effort. Get your engineering together. I should have heeded the internet warnings and reviews.

This is a must buy
If you’re looking for a reliable and high quality home base, this is an excellent choice. It offers great storage, performs well, and I have no complaints. I’ll definitely continue to support the Reolink brand.
