Just Wow!
This is an awesome laptop. Although, it took three weeks to get it, I wasn't disappointed. For the Money, nothing comes close to it in terms of speed and gaming, not even Alienware. I can play all the recent games at high settings. Right now, I am playing the gorgeous Assassin's Creed Origins, and it looks as good as my Xbox One S. I also play Witcher 1,2 and 3, and Ori. I upgraded the Ram to 40 GB and I added a 2TB second SSD, and it was super easy to do. It took like 15 minutes to do, without a hitch. I want to add Windows 10 Pro, and switch out the 1TB root drive for a 2TB. But, for now I am super happy with it. With the 8GB Nvidia card, 240Hz refresh rate, and super fast CPU, this thing is blazing fast. I can boot up in 10 seconds, and it is instantaneous from the Windows screen. I added a 20 dollar laptop cooler underneath it, and Laptop stays completely cold while gaming too. For under $1600 dollars, this thing cannot be beat. It is the best PC that I have ever had, Desktop or Laptop. This is my fourth laptop, and I have two other P4 Desktops. So, I have some comparisons. It is gorgeous, and blazing fast. The only Caveat is that you are stuck with the Cyan keyboard color, but it is gorgeous. The clear keys really pop. The whole thing is gorgeous, and I am super happy with it. Kudos to Asus with this TUF Dash F15 Gaming Laptop.

Gaming machine - NOT for power users
First off, I want to acknowledge what a great value overall this laptop is. It is specced well for the price point, and the white with teal only lights is drool worthy imo. Their needs to be more laptops with color options besides every shade of black, and 20k shades of grey. It literally turns heads in the library when I take it out lol. The plastic made case doesn't feel cheap or low quality at all. When I got it I upgraded to 24gb ram from 8gb. I didn't know the 8 was soldered onto the mobo, and that's my fault for not doing enough research. Also when I got it I added a 2nd 1tb wd black ssd, along with the nonamer brand one it came with. There's no Xtra thermal pad for the 2nd m.2 slot that comes with the laptop, and there definitely should be. We'll see if heat is an issue down the road for it.Adding this 2nd ssd , unbeknownst to me they are put into some sort of raid mode,by the bios, not 0,not 1, and it can't be changed. The bios is absolutely atrocious. Almost nothing can be tinkered with. even in advanced options(f7) anything interesting is greyed out i.e. graphics options, storage options, secure boot stuff. it's despicable that you can't change any of this stuff, and really bent me jaded me on this laptop abit. If your braindead and just want to game, this is optimal. If you want to squeak every bit of performance, and optimize YOUR laptop like I have my whole life, this isn't that laptop.ASUS cuts off every avenue for enhancement, and they use the Intel dynamic tuning, and Intel management engine to put a kibosh on any attempt to subvert this garbage. The screens good not great, sound is good not great, also im pretty sure they turn off some of the VM features of the i7 chip this laptop came with the vt-x. So power users need not apply here. 'Nuff said.

Bad motherboards
Motherboards do not last. I bought this less than 2yrs ago and the MB had already gone out. From doing research this appears the very common with these Asus laptops. It was awesome while it worked, now I'm left with an expensive paper weight.

Great gaming computer, but..
I enjoy it for gaming and homework.Screen is matte, so light may glare occasionally. I added another NVMe to mine, but does not read it all the time. Good battery life without straining the system, but I haven’t played without it being plugged in. Not a touch screen.Update: 16 JanFreezes occasionally. Must hard power cycle system, but may take up to a minute of holding power button down to shut system off.

It wont charge
Bought this laptop for school and gaming and within a year the laptop the laptop wont charge period. I check to see if the battery was the problem, nope. I don't know yet if its the port or not (The laptops port has little to no damage on it physically as I can see) but I shouldn't be having these type of issues from a laptop I spent over a grand on. Going to have to bring it to a laptop repair shop because I don't have the tools to diagnose/repair it myself. Huge waste of money and energy.

Power, speakers, screen, weight
I’m using it 2 months. Not so long time to understand it fully, but what I can say: I bought it for about 1650 and for this money u can’t find anything good with 3070, but the main thing is that this processor is not powerful enough for such a gpu, in a lot of games without open world and hard graphics it doesn’t make sense if you have 3070 or would have 3060 instead. I absolutely don’t like the speakers. Well I always use headphones to play or make music, but when I wanna watch film I feel disgusting about sound, you need 5 minutes to get used to it, it almost doesn’t have low frequences. Like phone speaker for example. All the rest is great, great screen with 240hz, nice color. Keyboard is not rgb unfortunately, but I like this light blue keyboard buttons color. It’s not really heavy and doesn’t get hot. A bit noisy while playing hard games. It’s a great gaming laptop for this price, so I really enjoy using it.

No camera
I’ve had the laptop for about a week, it seems to work well, but I haven’t used it long enough to really know. The thing I’m disappointed with is that it doesn’t have a built in camera/webcam. I just thought that would be standard.
