I don't usually bother with a headline, but there's one very big reason to buy these which is that they save your settings when powering off at the plug. When I bought these about 6 months ago I spent a ludicrous amount of time trying to cultivate a selection of smart plug compatible string lights to choose from and these were literally the only ones that did it, even other listings that seemed like they used the same plug. This mean that I set the brightness low and have have them come on automatically at sunset for ambient lighting, something that apparently no others will do. They're doubly useful for smart plugs this because you can chain up to three together using a single socket. Out of the box they have to be plugged directly into each other to daisy-chain so you can't have gaps but I would bet that you can find extension leads to do it somewhere. The plug/socket type seems unusual but is apparently standard for this sort of thing.As far as as the quality goes, I have two both in places where they get knocked around a bit, even chased by cats occasionally, and both still work absolutely fine. The warm white colour looks right and while the wiring isn't quite as transparent as I'd hoped it is a solidly neutral colour for light walls. I've barely used the remote as I don't change the settings but it worked fine when I did. Mine both came neatly tied up and were easy to detangle to get in place, if yours didn't they're presumably a return as I sure couldn't tie them back up together again.The price is also very good and FYI they're permanently on a cycle of raising and lowering prices between £14 and £18, usually changing around once a week, and have been since I bought them.

Helpful instructions! I’ve only had these for a day but they are beautiful! I currently have them held up with blue tack and it works well! The remote has tons of options for different flashing effects! Super easy to use and comes packaged well! So so happy with these!

i see a lot of reviews of the remote not working but it works fine for me the lights look amazing it goes really long and it shines so bright it’s so worth the money but make sure to use blue tack and stick it to the wall and then undo all the lights don’t be like me and undo them all and having to untangle them while hanging them up

It took me literally 50 minutes to detangle them prior to use, as they came out of the box jumbled up totally unnecessarily.Despite the initial frustration, the lights themselves are excellent and I am very happy with my purchase.

I've hung them in my bedroom on command strip fairy light hooks. Looks amazing and creates a nice relaxing ambient light. The remote control feature is so handy too no more faffing round with plug sockets turning on and off. A few months later and the dimmer function is no longer working on the remote.

These lights are absolutely amazing. The remote works which i was surprised about and the 3 brightness settings are perfect. Great value for money. I definitely recommend this product.

Cute lights, untangle easily. Remote doesn’t work at all, a task alone to even get the battery out and it still wouldn’t work once the battery was eventually replaced.
