Sturdy and strong.
These were ordered to support some vintage wooden wine boxes I'm putting on the wall to hold glasses and a couple of decanters. The boxes these will be used on has been fitted out as a wine rack so it's quite heavy when filled, I used them in my old flat and had to use similar brackets to these then as ordinary ones just didn't give me any confidence. The brackets are heavy cold rolled steel shaped and punched in powerful hydraulic presses (I used to be a machine shop manager, I know how things are made) they don't just look strong, they are. They are finished in a satin black which doesn't draw the eye and takes most paints well so they are easy to blend in to the surrounding wall and shelf.I also like how they are best used. rather than being fixed below the shelf they should be fixed behind it so they are in a manner of speaking lifting your shelf rather then pushing it up.This is not only the best way to use brackets of this kind it also means they are easier to disguise so they look better too.

Prima!
