I loved my boots , I literally wear them everywhere

I wanted to love them but...
I take a size 9-I have always taken a size 9. I think I was born a size 9 (which was very disturbing to my parents) I read the reviews which all said "order up a half size", so that's what I did. This boot was still so small that I doubt very much if a size 10 would fit my foot. First I tried them with a heavy sock-then a light sweat sock-then knee highs-then no socks at all-YES, I really wanted them to fit. But alas they did not. I couldn't even get my heel all the way down into this boot and trust me I tried. My next complaint is the color. These boots were suppose to be brown and turquoise I have a LOT of turquoise jewelry and clothes and these boots are not turquoise. The photo on this site shows a boot that is much more blue than green. The boots I received are WAY more green than blue. Now to be fair it is very possible that the problem with the color stems from my computer monitor. I have a brand new lap top and perhaps I haven't tweaked the color enough. Also to be fair, my husband said and I quote "You're nuts, these boots are a perfect turquoise color." And there you have it, just keep in mind if you side with my husband you are siding with someone who still looks and acts like a hippie. (if you don't know what a "hippie" is just ask your grandparents or look up"flower power" on the internet.)If you are into American Indian jewelry you know there are many shades of turquoise-these boots are green-blueish and not blue-greenish.These boots are sooooooo well made that I can see a horse stepping on my foot and I wouldn't get hurt, but they aren't heavy at all.The style of this boot is stunning and just the right height on the legs. I dislike boots that go up to my knees or even slightly pass my calves. These boots do not do that. I like the style and feel of this boot so much that I'm going to try a full size up and another color.Giving these boots only 1 or 2 stars would be totally unfair. I think the quality these boots warrants 5 stars but I can't give these boots 5 stars because of the size and color so 3 or 4 stars. Can I give them a 3 1/2? Guess not ;-)I hope this review has been some what helpful to you although I can't imagine that it was because of my love-hate relationship to them....can you actually have a relationship with a pair of boots ? I didn't think so.Have a Rainbow Kinda Day.

Want to be Goldilocks? Too big, then too small....Hoping for "Just right!"
I live in the sticks....like where the only place to shop is Walmart and the feed store. I reaffirmed why I have always been leery of buying shoes on line, but I am hoping this review might help other people who have wide feet. (BTW, I am NOT David, but I am his wife) After getting a pair of these boots for my daughter, I decided I really wanted a pair. I read tons of reviews and hints and tips on sizing. I have w i d e feet. I absolutely hate my toes being cramped up. So after all the research, I decided to try the square toes in a half size bigger than I usually take. Well...they were completely sloppy! Waaaaay too big. I also didn't care for the way they looked, so I went and ordered my real size in the round toes. They came today, in quite a speedy fashion, I might add. But now they're too small! I am now hoping that the next try comes and is "just right". My theory, based on two failed attempts at these boots is as follows: If you have wide feet and are ordering the square toe version, order your normal size. If you are wanting the round toe version, definitely order a half size larger. I feel like flippin' Goldilocks of cowboy boots! If my theory proves to be incorrect, I will come back on and edit my post.UPDATE: Ok, I have given it time, and I must say that it isn't exactly as I had hoped. Close enough though. The knock down is that I should have ordered a ful size larger for the round toe, not the half size larger. It's close enough, but I won't likely be happy with winter socks in these. Great boots though!

Not for hard core.. just casual wear!
This is not for continued use for ranch work or riding because it tears at the seams. I bought 2 identical pairs, and both tore at the seams on the top front. Grant it, I love the way it looks and feels so much that I wore it every time I ride and do ranch work, but both pairs started to wear at the seams Iâm about 6 months into wearing it. Itâs very comfortable, hats off to that but I will have to part ways. This is a great pair of boots for the casual wear only.

Lovin the Justin Gypsy
I was looking for a comfortable pair of work boots that I could slip into rather than having to lace. The reviews were very good on the Justin Gypsy boots AND I have a friend who wears them and raves about how comfortable they are. They looked great on her, so I decided to try a pair. Amazon had a GREAT price on these at just over $70.00 with free shipping. I wear a size 8M, but when I ordered these I accidentally selected 8.5 from the drop down sizing selector. The 8.5 was too big, even with thick socks, so I returned them. Amazon (via Prime) paid for free return shipping with no hassle, even though the error was mine. I quickly received the replacement (size 8) - delivered on a Sunday, believe it or not. Incredible Service by Amazon! That said, I have worn the boots only one day now, but they are already breaking in nicely. The foot bed feels great on my feet with minor heel slippage and I'm confident are going to be very comfortable. They are light weight and I love the look of the aged bark leather. They have a removeable insole, which I love in boots, because they can be replaced and or washed. I found the boots to be "true to size." There does appear to be a significant different in 1/2 sizes. The 8.5 was so big on me, I considered ordering a 7.5, BUT (based on reviews) went with my true size of 8 and I'm sure glad I did!

Best boots!!! True to the size!!!
I wore these boots for work every day for 9 hr shifts 5 days a week for over a year in restaurant industry so lot of walking, lot of grease and wet floors and these were the most comfortable boots ever. You wonât slip in them on wet surfaces either. Never had any blisters or back pain from them. Only after a year my right boot has small crack on the side where your big toe is. They are great looking tough boots. I got compliments how they look all the time.
