Works best with the included mallet
I’m new to this instrument, but I’ve been doing research and was told handpans go out of tune in like a year depending on how gentle you are with them so I didn’t want to use the mallet that came with this, but when I use my thumb and index finger as instructed you can barely hear it. It sounds beautiful when using the mallet though, so I will do that and hope it doesn’t go out of tune quickly.

lots of fun to play
Being a Latin percussionist since I was six, I incorporated bongo techniques to play the instrument, and I fell in love with the hand pan the moment I started playing it. This drum is at 432 Hz, so it has healing qualities. I recommend it as a first-time player of these instruments; it was enjoyable for me. I will be making TikToks playing this drum

Great quality for price
Great value. The sound is good for this price bracket. It comes including everything you would need to get started. The only negative is that the tripod is a little narrow so it tends to tip over if the instrument is not exactly in the middle. Overall good quality for this price point.

Not worth the money
Its small, sound quality is the worst if playing with your bare hands, but very portable and easy to use. nice calming effect, not tuneable but great carrying case, the finish is low quality and the color is off looking more like brown than purple. Wouldn't waste the money if i had it to do over again but since im stuck with it, ill make the best of it!

I’ve been for 40+ yrs this is the first time I’ve ever heard had one of these hand drums. So far, I am having a blast with it!! It’s a neat adventure!!

GREAT AFFORDABLE DRUM IMO!
IT SOUNDS GOOD, MAYBE NOT LIKE ONE COSTING $1000" BUT THIS ONE WAS CHEAP AND HAS VERY GOOD USER REVIEWS! AND SO IT WILL SUIT ME FINE! SO ALL IN ALL IT SOUNDS GOOD AND WILL SOOTH MY TROUBLED SOUL WHEN NEED BE! AND THESE DRUMS TEND TO BE SENSITIVE AND AN GO OUT OF TUNE DUE TO TEMP, BUT, THAT SAID THEY ARE ALSO TUNEABLE AND SO CAN BE FINE TUNED AND SO THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT I WILL DO IN THE FUTURE TO THIS ONE! I LUV THESE HAND-DRUMS BUT SURE CANNOT AFFORD TO SPEND THOUSANDS ON AN EXPENSIVE ONE SO A LITTLE TLC CAN GET ME TO THAT SAME OUTCOME FOR FAR LESS $$$,
