There's something very interesting about this floor lamp and I'm not really sure what it is. I mean, other than it being a great lamp that even when it's really bright does not bother your eyes. It's like a bunch of scientists from an alternate dimension created this in the 1950's but it just came out now. I really like the style of this and again, the light itself is amazing. I added a smart plug to it to bring it into this future so I can use voice commands on it.

Super easy to assemble. Very heavy bottom making it very stable no matter what position you have it in. There is touch controls build into the pole that are easy to use. There is 2 different lighting temperatures selected with the two bottom buttons. Holding the power button will increase or decrease the brightness. Took way to long figuring out that holding the power button controls brightness. Overall amazing quality that you would expect from Honeywell. It is very bright but diffused so it doesn't blind you.

This has been a pleasant surprise and a WONDERFUL experience to use. It’s as if I am experiencing a futuristic floor lamp. The way this is built, makes it so versatile. You can move it this way and twist it that way until you get it just right depending on your needs. You can utilize it with an easel as described. It has a modern, aesthetic design to it that draws you towards it. The color is as depicted and matches well with all décor. It’s not TOO heavy but, it does have weight to it due to the quality build. I don’t find it difficult to move to a different location when necessary but, if you’re frail I recommend you seek help when moving its location. The brightest of the light is wonderful and can be manipulated to focus on a specific location or area. The touch settings are easy to adjust and appear aesthetically modern. All in all, the value is there and I am SUPER happy with it. I would say, if you can manage the numbers on the tag, it’s a MUST HAVE. I HIGHLY recommend.

You know with the name Honeywell you're getting quality, and this lamp is no exception! It's a very well made lamp and it works great. I highly recommend it.

I've been needing to replace the lamp in my room for a while, and after deciding install blackout shades on my windows due to the heat getting in, I finally decided to upgrade. And this is definitely a lovely lamp. It's built well and not hard to put together, and the light works great. There's plenty of settings so I can get it just how I like it in both the lighting and the positioning, and it's bright without causing glare or being to bright in my eyes while I'm reading.

Heavy bottom easy to assemble. Light is bright but not sharp. Heavy base keeps it in place where needed. Recommended for versatility.

This lamp is wonderful; if I could give more stars, I would. After years of products being made progressively cheaper and weaker while increasing in price, this lamp is a breath of fresh air. The build quality is great - screws go in where they should effortlessly, with no force required or metal shavings coming out of holes. The base appears to be solid metal, no crumbly concrete or sand to spill. The post screws in and is locked in place solidly - it won't be unscrewed by rotating it during regular use. The hinges have just enough force to hold the light in any position without "sticking" or slowly falling down. The light is bright and even, and the coating on the entire lamp is of good quality (no cheap chipping paint). The light fades in and out smoothly without any perceived "stepping" of brightness. It also remembers what brightness setting you used last on both modes, so they can be individually adjusted. Overall, incredibly satisfied with this lamp, and highly recommended. My one wish is that the buttons were tactile instead of touch-based, but, can't have everything, I guess.

Die Honeywell Sunturalux Lampe wird in einer extrem aufwendigen Verpackung geliefert. Doppelter Karton, und innen liegt jedes Teil in einem getrennten Fach, in dem es optimal geschützt ist. Die Lampe wiegt 8.5kg und die Verpackung selbst 5kg.Die Lampe ist schnell zusammengebaut. Die Teile werden zusammengeschraubt und mit einer Schraube fixiert, sie können sich dann nicht mehr von selbst lockern. Die beweglichen Elemente sind sehr stabil, lassen sich gut bewegen und behalten ihre Position. Der Fuss ist sehr schwer, so dass die Lampe nicht so leicht umfällt.Die Lampe hat ein Steckernetzteil mit einem 20cm langen Kabel, an das das 2m lange feste Kabel zur Lampe eingesteckt wird. Somit ist das Netzteil leicht austauschbar und man kann ein Verlängerungskabel dazwischen stecken, wenn man ein passendes Kabel mit Rundstecker findet.Die Lampe hat oben drei Gelenke, so dass man die Richtung und Höhe des 54cm langen Leuchtelements gut verstellen kann. Man kann das Licht nach unten oder zur Seite ausrichten (gegen eine Wand), nach oben (Deckenfluter) geht nicht.Die maximale Höhe des Lichts bei horizontaler Stellung ist 145cm. Ich hätte mir etwas mehr gewünscht. Von der Konstruktion her hätte man ein Verlängerungsstück (10-20cm) für den Stiel unten mitliefern können, denn das Kabel tritt erst weiter oben in die Lampe ein. Doch sowas gibt es nicht. Auf der Webseite des Herstellers ist kein Zubehör gelistet.Das Kabel verläuft nicht komplett im Stiel sondern tritt an den Gelenken aus und wieder ein (siehe Foto). einen Schönheitspreis hat die Lampe damit nicht verdient.Aber sie ist ja zum Arbeiten gedacht, und dafür ist das Licht optimiert. Es gibt zwei Lichttemperaturen (4000K und 5000K). Also kein Warmweiss (2700-3000K) und kein Kaltweiss (6000-7000K). Das ist praxisgerecht, mit 4000 oder 5000K ist das Licht effizient und angenehm. Der Hersteller beschreibt die beiden Einstellungen als Lese/Schreib- bzw Malmodus. Die maximale Helligkeit ist sehr hoch (1500 Lumen), dabei verbraucht die Lampe 28W. Sie lässt sich bis auf 5% runterdimmen.Zum Ein/ausschalten, Dimmen und Einstellen der Lichttemperatur gibt es drei Tasten im oberen Drittel des Stiels. Ich hätte lieber Tasten am Leuchtelement selbst gehabt, denn wenn die Lampe hinter der Arbeitsfläche steht muss man sich recht weit vorbeugen um die Tasten zu erreichen.Die Tasten geben kein mechanisches Feedback sondern machen einen leisen nicht nervigen Piepston. Leider reagiert die Lampe recht langsam, so dass man nicht gleich weiss ob man die Taste getroffen hat. Das ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Die Umschaltung erfolgt nicht sofort sondern graduell. Es gibt eine spezielle Timerfunktion (zweimal antippen) , bei der das Licht nach 30 Sekunden ausgeht, damit man den Raum verlassen kann ohne die Deckenlampe einzuschalten.Fazit: Bei der Haptik gibt es Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten, aber das Licht hat professionelle Qualität. Der Preis ist allerdings sehr hoch.

I knew Honeywell made lamps, but I didn't know they made lamps this extravagant, I wasn't sure what to expect, but for the listing price my expectations were set very high.Once I opened it and started to use it my expectations were surprisingly met, starting from opening the box I was greeted with the entire thing being wrapped in some sort of soft fabric sock, maybe cotton? either way from an unboxing experience it is very lavish looking, especially with the included cotton gloves also included.Once I had it all out I noticed the build and material quality is rather amazing, the base plate is hilariously heavy, the pole not only has a tightening screw but also a retention screw so it doesn't loosen, that's a great attention to detail.The chrome ring is so shiny that it reflected the sun onto my wall while I was assembling it which my cats were chasing, the hinges to bend the lamp don't have any adjustments but are somehow easy to move yet firm enough that they won't budge otherwise, I'm not sure exactly how that was achieved but I absolutely love it.The light and it's controls are also rather amazing, I used several different exposure methods to see if I could catch any flicker when turning it on and off or adjusting the brightness, but I was not able to catch any whatsoever.The colour temperatures are also pretty great, I personally an mainly using this as a reading light so I'm keeping it on the warmer one, but while reading I noticed my eyes don't strain as much as they did with just the room light, I usually have to put the book down after an hour or so but I was able to get 5 hours straight of reading done and I didn't get a headache.Overall the price is pretty high for most people, but I do believe this lamp is actually worth the listing price and I would gladly give it a glowing recommendation

The Honeywell Sunturalux LED floor lamp could be a nice addition to many living rooms or home offices. The modern design is sleek and fits well with contemporary decor. The brightness is good and provides good illumination with close to natural daylight that's perfect for reading or working without straining the eyes. My mother really likes the light spectrum that this lamp emits, but I personally prefer higher spectrum of 7000K+ - different people, different perceptions :). The dimmable feature is great and allows me to adjust the lighting to suit different tasks. However, I can't give it 5 stars because of its energy efficiency, which is class F - for such price, it should be minimum class A. You can directly feel the fine build quality and the materials used in making the whole thing - it's pretty heavy and all arms connectors move smoothly and silently. The lamp comes in a pretty big sturdy carton box, which keeps everything safe during transport and the included instructions are clear and easy to understand. Very nice floor lamp.

The gross weight given on the side of the box was 13.5 kg (29.8 lbs) and the net weight is 8.5 kg (18.7 lbs). The net weight is the amount of the actual light and the other 5 kg (11 lbs) is the packing material!I was surprised when I opened the large brown box to find a Red & White Honeywell box inside it, just a little smaller. The dimensions of the red box are 28.5" wide x 23" high x 5 5/8" deep (72.3 cm x 58.5 cm x 13.5 cm). Inside the red Honeywell box were 3 more boxes. One contained the lamp post and the other two were more packing material.Each piece of the light was wrapped in a protective sock-like cover. The pieces include the base, the lower pole, the top pole, gloves in a bag with the small locking screw in a smaller zippered bag inside, and the AC plug. The user manual was inside an envelope.To put together, start at the base. The lower pole goes into the base and then the locking screw underneath holds it tight. The top pole then goes on and the small locking screw holds it in place. The pole has to be pushed down all the way for the screw to go in properly. The cord comes out from the top pole and there is a velcro strap around it and also hook on the bottom pole to hold it in place. The cord goes about 70" (178 cm) out from the base of the light.This light is made with special 216 Sunturalux full-spectrum LED eye-friendly lamp beads, providing the closest light effect to natural light. The lamp has been verified by four certifications to have no blue light, glare or flicker, and meet or exceed international lighting standards.There is a touch panel on the pole with 3 buttons. The top one is power on/off. Long-press this button for brightness adjustment (5%-100%), or double-click for delayed light-off function. The delay will adjust the light to 5% brightness then automatically turn off after 30 seconds. This allows you time to leave the room before it turns off. The middle button is Read-Write mode (4000K) and the bottom button is Painting mode (5000K). The light will remember the last setting when turned on again. The light beeps when the buttons are touched. I didn't hear the beeping at first because I had the air conditioner running, so it is fairly quiet luckily. I could find that annoying if it was louder and there doesn't seem to be a way of turning the sound off.The lamp is made from high strength aluminum alloy and iron, with a total weight of 18.74 lbs. The base itself I weighed to be 6.2 kg (13.7 lbs) so the rest of the light is just 5 lbs. This base is much heavier than bases of all my other lights. Be careful moving this light as it could result in a back injury!The adapter output is 24 volts DC/ 1.5 amps and the rated power is 28 watts. There are 216 LED beads with a maximum of 1500 LM.The light was a lot shorter than I was expecting, and an odd shape. The light can't go straight up, and the top with the LEDs can't pivot up to the ceiling. It has adjustments but not to put the light where I want it. It seems to be more of a reading light to go over a chair. The base of the light is about 12.5" (31.8 cm) in diameter. The lower two poles (including the base and touch panel) are about 42" (107 cm) from the ground. There is then an elbow with some movement. If this one is straight, then the next elbow is about 52" (132 cm) from the ground. The next pole is about 12 1/2" (32 cm) from the 2nd elbow and holds the light with the LEDs, which is about 21 1/2" long x 2 3/4" wide (54.5 cm x 7 cm).I'm not sure what to think of this light. I was going to use it in the living room for natural daylight but it isn't able to aim toward the ceiling like other lights I have. The light is nice and has two temperatures to chose from, plus brightness control. I was expecting a remote as most other lights have, especially at the price of this one. I think the shape of this is more for reading, writing, and painting, rather than for just lighting up the room.
