We're trying to eat more veggies so what better way to cook them. Fresh veggies cook to whatever texture desired. For me this is a great size, although some may want to go bigger depending on your needs. Construction and quality are good. It's easy to clean. Sometimes I get some spotting on the bottom boiler, but a little white vinegar and they are gone. Overall for the price and quality, I am happy. Can you go up a few notches? Yes, but this works great for me and I suspect this will last many-many years.

I have been looking for some time for a good quality steamer , double boiler combination . All were so unbelievably expensive, until now. This is a very good grade, cooking utensil at an amazing price.

Easy to use and to clean. Enough capacity for two servings . Bought for steam dumpling and shrimp dumplings. It totally serve the purpose. Will try steam vegetables later.
