Must have for a manual transmission jk jeep
Hardest part is simply contorting yourself to reach the plug. Its doable, im a 6 foot guy with shoulders like hoss cartwright. And more than a few pounds extra. Instructions will indicate a auto mode and manual mode that do not actually exist . I found that p3(race) at 5/7 feels most like a direct connect analog throttle. At that setting my jeep actually does what I TELL IT TO DO !!! And no it is not some miracle hp voodoo for a 3.8. But it certainly makes what does exist completely usable. No more sluggish acceleration or the constant take off stalls without punching it so hard that you activate the esc.which just makes the stalls even a bigger pia. No more rev hang between shifts , much much quicker run up through the gears without stomping the gas. Very noticeable increase in roll on response in all gears. No codes after a full tank of gas , the controller indicator lights will stay on after shut off; do not panic its simply residual energy in the leds. Give it a minute and the fo out. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE MOST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK ESSENTIAL MOD YOU CAN GIVE A JK ESPECIALLY A MANUAL TRANSMISSION . No noticeable mpg loss under normal non lead foot street and mild trail conditions, if anything it is a 4/6 tenths of gallon better . I use similar products on my modern fi motorcycles. The car makers program the throttle to force eco mode at all levels to meet the nanny state mandates for the dullwitted driver. This cancels that and puts you back in control. Note a heavy foot will get you into traction control mode rapidly so at analog level settings use your noodle.

Works amazing for a super low price
Works great! Amazing for being 1/3 of the the major brand. Economy version seems to gain me 2-3 mpg. Performance setting makes throttle response much better/quicker.

Awesome buy
This thing works pretty good Especially on my 2010 JK jeep I can feel the throttle response all the way to 6th gear

Works as described
This product was very easy to install and works as described. Very noticeable increased throttle response on my 2013 Ram 1500 5.7 hemi. The unit itself is very small and easy to mount about anywhere on the dash. Has a bright LED display and easy to use features. I would advise disconnecting the neg post the vehicle battery before installing to avoid check engine/ error lights.

Works enough so far to keep it!
So far so good, works but a little jerky at times! Heard the horror stories about throwing codes and sending vehicles into limp mode! So far alls good! Only complaint as of now is how bright the screen is, none of the modes seem to really change noticeably so i might just hide it behind the dash! Will update if anything changes!

I need to change my underwear. I was NOT expecting that!
So let me tell you what had happened with this, unexpected gem.I kept seeing all across the inter webs about this device, thats awesome, called the Pedal Commander, it’s supposed to be amazing, wake your car up. Every time I check the price, over $200, no thanks. Besides, my Diablo Trinity that I paid over $600 for has a throttle response adjuster, and I have it maxed at 20% so what’s this $200 device going to do? No thanks I’ll pass. Then the inter webs blew up once more, over this device that was cheap, and small, and it stacked with my diablo, which means I get the effects with the diablo plus this all for $40. I figure, Ill give it a shot, worst case is im out $40 not a super huge deal, I mean, thats a lot of money for someone on dissability but meh, screw it, you only live once right? When this nifty device came there was one odd feature I discovered. A Proprietary plug, that does not belong to them, which got my brain immediately thinking I got scammed. It had a lightning connector. Which until recently was patented and used for use only by Apple products. Now I haven’t kept up the legality of the Lightning connector since the switch to USB-C but 2 possibilities came through my head.1.) Definatly a scam, they got some dead cables, repair the cables threw some crap plastic together and called it a day.2.) They somehow are able to legally use them, they must have been / currently are an iPhone manufacturer and have a crap ton of lightning cables laying around and need a use for themwhatever, lets continue the install anyways!I removed my seat, a step that you do not have to do but I did it for multiple reasons, and for an unrelated repair but it did make my job easier to get to the throttle sensor. Installed the plug then contemplated for a few hours where I wanted to route this extra long iPhone cable. I ended up deciding to route it through the bottom of the steering wheel and placing it on the left side area of my challenger. Now this is where it gets interesting. The control module was installed, but not the control panel. And I needed to make a run to the store.I have absolutely no idea what setting that thing was on when I took off, but holy Fruity Brown balls. with my Diablo I keep ALL Traction control ESP and all of that off, my tires free spin with nothing to stop them, pure power. With that + the unknown setting when I left and hit the main road I was pushing the throttle at about 20-30% and had the clutch retracted at about the 50% mark and I was already going sideways with my tires spinning like hell.I needed to change my underwearI have no idea how to drive my car anymoreI need to relearn it!For $40 uhh.. holy… flying.. Rawr!!!!!Defiantly worth it! I mean seriously.UPDATE: Its now been, idk. A week or three since I installed this, I can’t remember. Ive played around with all the settings. You notice each one. Im not entirely sure if Econo mode actually saves fuel, but it does pull back, feels like it actually changes the power band, it’s weird. Some settings the power band is low some is high, I still stand by what I say, this is WORTH IT. I keep it on race mode maxed out and Man it seriously feels like she got some extra HP, I don’t know why but before this first gear low RPM’s she putzed, it wasn’t until I got her to like 2500 to 3k RPM’s in first when she really took off flying. Now, nahh 500 RPM those tires are screaming, this seriously is the best mod ive ever bought for my car so far. Seriously. I still can’t believe some cheap Chinese mod actually worked.
