Traditional Karuppu Kavuni Rice (1 kg)/ Certified Organic/Authentic Black Rice/Low GI Rice/Karuppu Kavuni Arisi

I lived in Myanmar, then Burma where this rice was very famous. This is one of South Asian’s diet and they say it as Sticky Rice. It comes in three different color – White, Black & Brown. White is the best with full of aroma commonly used by Japanese. We get only the black in India, and I tried many sources. This one is really good. Please note, we should know how to cook and make the best use of it. It's full of energy and fiber good for very one. We soak in water over night, next day cook directly after soaking with water / adding little salt in cooker to 10 minutes. Also to add black eye beans (need to soak overnight separately) one third quantity after cooking separately for one whistle. Mix together and add sugar or Jaggery powder, and grated coconut that makes ready to serve. We can also make tasty ‘Payasam‘ the sweet desert by adding some milk /coconut milk with little cardamom.

Rice was good but Listing stated “Get 50 grams Black Cumin free” - was not sent.

I heard about this type of rice from my friend. He suggested this rice to reduce my weight. Karuppu kavuni rice is a nice product have used it for the past three days. Usually when I eat rice I feel bloated, with black rice that didn’t happen. If you’re planning to switch to healthy alternative try black rice and Karuppu kavuni rice from B&B Organics the best choice if you prefer organic. product was full of insects, never buy! this is my first review on amazon and forced to write it as such a bad product which was full of insects. Amazon brand also certifying this as ‘Amazon’s Choice’ is misleading and shows lack of quality standards and benchmarking by Amazon.

Bought Karuppu kavini rice for the first time as i heard about its benefits, the product packing was very good and got a timely delivery. Highly recommended to buy it here. It also had a recipe and benefits listed with it, so was easy to know how to cook it. Will buy it again.
