Nice looking line, but where's the loop on the end?
I'm sure this line will work out fine, but why wasn't it provided with a loop on the end? I'd swear other Rio lines do have loops on them. I mean, how much does it add to the cost of manufacturing? A couple pennies, maybe?

Haven't had a chance to use yet
Looks good, spooled up on my new Redington Crosswater reel nicely, can't wait to test in the backyard and on the water.

Not what I expected
This product is not what I expected from a reputable company as is RIO. this fly line is really stiff, with no suppleness whatsoever. the coils from the packaging will not relax. as soon as you pull out the line to cast the line coils on itself and jams up in the rod's eye. I've tried stretching it in sections to try and relieve the coils, but to no avail. and to cast this line is like casting a plastic clothesline. hopefully, with some time and numerous casts, the line will relax and become a usable fly line.

doesnt have welded loop at end
not a huge issue, but have to tie a leader on with a nail knot

What's that song from Cats...?
Ah, yes...'Memory.'This line has it in spades. This was my first Bass/warm water line and I am truly disappointed in my purchase. The line was fairly slick right out of the package and onto the rod, but after 2 or 3 six hour days on the water, it moves through the guides like melted cheese. And the loops in the line as it comes off the reel are just the worst; it was like having some old mono in a Zebco pushbutton reel on there. I lost count of the birdnests on my last day using this line, and promptly pulled it off when I got home. I replaced it with another brand (rhymes with Storvis--got it on sale), and am glad I did.Do yourself a favor and spend a little more for some higher quality line. There's nothing worse than spotting a feeding fish and not being able to get a fly anywhere near it because of the crappy line lying at your feet like a bright yellow Jackson Pollack painting.Rio makes decent leaders and tippet. Line, not so much.
