How do you open to insert the battery? I have had ZERO luck and it feels like it is going to break if I keep trying to pry it open. HELP!

I thought I would break it, too. But if you'll take a small flat-end screwdriver or a small coin and slowly pry around the edges to break the seal, it will snap open with a little effort. Insert the battery and snap it back together.

Will this work on a Legacy 696CD?

According to the advertisement these remotes will work with Genie and 'other' overhead door openers manufactured after 1995 except those using DIP switches.

Funcionan bien y buena calidad

Me cotizaron muy caro varios proveedores de puertas el reemplazo de mi control remoto orginal. Estos controles remotos llegaron a tiempo, se sienten de buena calidad y funcionan bien. Busqué un tutorial en YouTube de como configurarlos con la marca de mi motor y resulta que es muy sencillo!! (en 1 minuto lo haces). Tengo un motor Overhead Legacy ya con varios años de uso y estos controles nuevos, funcionan perfectamente.
