Got this to help my five year old stay on routine and keep track of time, and it’s great. It’s the perfect size and he loves the bright colors! The timer is just what we needed and it alerts us when the time is up without being too loud.

Love the silent option to where only the red light flashes. My child is sound sensitive and doesn’t like most timers as they “scare/startle/agitate” her. She loves purple and rainbows so this is the perfect timer for her. She can set it herself if she wants. She’s 6 years old. Would be fine for most 5 year olds I’d say - just don’t twist the knob in the wrong direction too hard.

I read a lot about kids transitioning better from activities when they have a visual timer to move them along. This one has worked great for us and has helped my 5.5yo learn about time. I don't like how the alarm goes off until you manually turn it off, though I'm sure that is just a personal thing. It is simple to use, my kid has no issues working it himself. It has also been dropped by both of my kids multiple times and is still going strong. I haven't timed it to find out exact accuracy, but haven't noticed anything off about the accuracy.

My son loves this, and it helps him to better keep up with the time limitations I provide. For example - 10 minutes of Kirby, 20 minutes of Math Antics.

I purchased this to add a pop of fun color to my desk. Wanted a timer to schedule walk breaks while sitting at the computer for work. Love the look, unfortunately it didn't work. I put the freshly-charged batteries in and it didn't move at all. A small shake and there's a rattling like something is loose inside. Sent it back in exchange for a working one. New batteries, and set the timer for 15 minutes, set my phone timer to see how accurate. 15 minutes went by but only 2 minutes on the timer. It also has a rattling sound inside when turning it. Returning this one too. It's a shame, it's so cute and I don't want to use my phone as a timer so back to shopping I go.

I bought this timer for my son, a five year old with autism, and another for a family member who is four with ADHD. My son loves it and it's helping us transition much better. He also loves to play with it of course, which is fine, it's pretty durable. Except, every time it rolls off the couch or coffee table (onto carpet, not a long or hard fall), the battery door falls off and the batteries fall out. (I didn't realize it took batteries initially, but it needs 2 AA). I ended up putting some tape over it and warned the other mom to do the same. Our kids are unlikely to put batteries in their mouths now but she has a baby and preschooler too, which could be dangerous. I highly recommend the manufacturer improve the security of the battery door and parents take it into consideration in the meantime.

Super cute & helpful.My daughter just turned 5 and she loves to be independent. She started to shower alone & I only supervised when she finishes but we were losing track of time & she was staying way too long . SO this was helping me to track her , 5 min shower time is perfect for a small 5 yr toddler.

I love this little timer clock so much! I was looking for something to help my toddler get into a good routine and have less meltdowns for naps and other things. This clock helps us give structure and a visual for him to understand how much time he has left before the next thing on the schedule. We set the timer and place it where he can see so he knows how much time he has. We use this for everything! Screen time, nap time, time outs, play time etc. It looks cute, functional, and super useful and helpful. It also has an alarm that beeps when the time is up, so that is also great! It has help cut down meltdowns and has been the answer to our problems! Very easy to operate too. I’m very happy with this purchase! Great value!
