Nice sounding weak AM signal selectivity day or night.
Pleasantly surprised by the weak AM signal selectivity of this model, normally I assume that these type of radios AM is an afterthought, but in addition to the fact that this has an internal lithium battery, (2000 mAh) so the standard 2 "D" cell battery power is "optional" since the internal battery is rechargeable.Others have mentioned the sound, a deep throaty bass from what appears to be a foam edge 3" speaker.I can't speak objectively about the BT since I never use it personally.FM is fine, but I have to rave about the feature I'm usually stuck making all sorts of complaints about, AM reception is tricky, but this is a DSP radio and I thought that clear channel stations adjacent to weak AM stations would bleed all over weaker stations, but after some fine adjustment, I pulled in the best sounding weak signal station I've ever heard on an analog tuning unit. The only missing thing that would make this unit nearly perfect, is a sleep timer, but those are usually only available on digital display units, one DSP radio I own with an analog tuning dial has a dedicated sleep timer display window near the far left top corner and that was a Degen DE1107.I'm going to assume that if one does use 2 "D" batteries to power this unit, that doing so cuts off the internal lithium battery power supply to all the functions. There is no AC power cord for this model, but charging it via its C-type charging port, it goes from RED while charging to Green when fully charged, so I imagine keeping it plugged into a USB power source probably won't over-charge the internal battery, but that's just speculation on my part. One last item of note, the Fm dial indication appears to be spot on accurate, the AM dial at least for the area of the dial I use to select weak AM stations, is off by 50 khz, not a deal breaker for me as I care most about selectivity on AM as most clear channel stations tend to bleed over weaker stations nearby.I usually just use the clear channel stations (50 Kw) as dial markers to find the weak stations I'm looking for as only a few DSP radios ever light up the tuning LED for weak stations, (Panasonic RF-2400D) most DSP radios the signal strength isn't high enough to trigger tuning LED illumination.

Fun and functional!
This retro radio is a great addition to my room! It fits the old-school aesthetic while giving me another place to play my podcasts and audiobooks. I mostly use the Bluetooth feature, but I like that it has USB and TF inputs as well. It does have a functionating FM/AM radio as well, though I'd recommend using the antenna for that feature. The speaker has good volume, but the quality diminishes as it gets louder. Overall, though, this vintage radio works great and looks fantastic. It's a very fun product and I'm glad I got it.

A handy device
This reminds me of a good old fashioned transistor radio but with a few modern features. It's a handy size, not too small or not too large. It has good volume, easy controls and the instructions are super easy to understand. It can be powered with two d sized batteries (not included) or use the internal rechargeable battery. It recharges with a standard USB connector in 3 - 4 hours. It can play AM or FM bands or can be connected to a Bluetooth device. It also can accept a USB disk or Micro SD card and play MP3 files. It also has a headphone jack. Very handy for a picnic, a walk in the park, a camp-out or any other type of outing.
