Teeth that bite!
After about 2 years, the original cassette on my bike had a couple of cogs slipping. I found this to be compatible with my derailleur and riding style. Sure the cog plates are solid and over it feels heavy but I ride mainly for commuting purposes. It made my bike feel new again and I can ride the steep hill in front of my house without slipping gears. I would buy this low cost, high value product again to extend my bike life.

Gearing compatibility
Some applications will not work properly with that low (large diameter sprocket) gearing. Even with an adequately long derailleur arm.

Works as expected
It is as described and works as expected. Installed this on my indoor trainer to match the cassette on my bike. This allows me to go from the trainer back to the original wheel with no need to adjust the derailleur.

Upgrade the gearing on your older road bike
This cassette and a Wolf Roadlink is all that was needed to upgrade older road bike for better climbing gears. You will also need a special chain wrench to remove the old cassette.

It's junk, not the typical Shimano quality I'm used to I will stick to XT or XTR in the future
I thought I would save a few dollars and swap out my XT for a hg500 boy was that a mistake. It won't even fit on the cassette that my old 10 speed XT cassette fit on. Very disappointing having to return items there were not ordered incorrectly but were produced in properly.
