I was hesitant this would work. I thought, it’ll get hot in certain spots and not the others, or it won’t heat up at all type of thoughts. Especially after reading some reviews. So I took a chance. I want to leave a very detailed review because that’s what I look for when I want to purchase something and I want to hear every detail. * When I was shampooing I also tried out one of those rechargeable head massagers. Awesome!! Just wanted to make sure my scalp was fully ready for this salon like experience * How long people want this to be it’s pretty damn long for me The court is pretty darn long. I don’t know how long some expected to be but I could definitely sit on my couch and plug this in and use it. And if you plan on walking in the room, then get an extension cord lol but I was able to pace around a little strip of my patio, and I did not feel like it restricted me at all. The back string to make the bonnet tighter is a little tricky, but I find if I tighten it Before I put it on, it works well. It just slides right over my cap that I put on before. I didn’t clip my hair up because I wasn’t sure if the plastic clips would melt or warp and no metal clips for heat reasons. My hair is about 2-3 inches above mid back so I plopped it on my head. I didn’t care if it fell (didn’t fall) I just wanted all hair in there. I started off right at 8 then I thought I’ll up it the top, level 10. After a few minutes, I soon realized that my ears needed to come out. Makes your ears heat up, so I just kind of flipped them outside the cap and readjusted. They look weird sticking out but it’s better than them getting hot . They didn’t burn or anything just hot and made the tops of em red. Level 10 is not extremely hot. I don’t want it to be extremely hot because then I’ll do damage to my hair and my scalp, etc. so level 10 is a good heat choice if you want deep conditioning and if it cold and you want to sit outside or for people with thick or a lot of hair. . I sit outside to do mine , and it’s winter right now so it’s perfect. When it gets warmer, I probably will turn it anywhere from a 4-8 maybe just depending on the temperature outside. I used a clear shower cap underneath. I may try a foil one next. It heats up perfectly even heat distribution all the way around. I set it for half an hour. I didn’t keep track of the time to see 1/2 an hour would be up to make sure the cap actually worked like it was supposed to. It did shut off automatically. Also, no no.drips out of the cap. Like when the moisture starts seeping out and down your neck and forehead? Nope. Nothing. I waited a bit for it to cool down before I removed the cap. I loosened the back strap and it came off without taking my clear cap. Then I let my hair cool for about 5 minutes so my hair would get to room temperature and the hair follicles will close and seal the deal. I used a regular mask. Any one will do. I rinsed my hair and oh my what is this silkiness? My scalp felt invigorated. It’s like the heat with the mask built a shield. I plan on keeping this as long as it’ll have me and use it at least once a week. Try different masks for fun. Some say it stopped working so I’ll update if this happens. Only used it once to fingers crossed! Anyone who is on the fence I say do it. You can always return it if you don’t like it but I absolutely love this from my long, on the thicker side, thick hair.

Great foldable size. Simple design and very easy to use and clean. I couldn’t wait to use this! FANTASTIC! Anytime you can give yourself a hair salon deep conditioning with a Hair Steamer, WITHOUT the COST $$$ of what a hair salon will charge is a winner! I used this two days after receiving. I set the time for 60 mins. (Timer setting: 30, 45 or 60 min.) Deep mask conditioner w/hair steamer works wonders!!!! Due to dry heat, as well as, hair going through metamorphosis due to menopause, a hair steamer is needed and necessary to keep your “crown” looking healthy! As a person of African descent, our hair needs moisture!!!!! Using a good conditioner and a heat steamer cap will help with hair growth and hair loss/breakage will lessen. I recommend this Hair Steamer!

Today is my first day using the steamer for deep conditioning my natural hair. It works. My hair was very silky after use. It was easy to use and although it’s plugged in, the cord was long enough for me to move around. I had it set to number six for deep conditioning and the heat was perfect. Not too hot. It was definitely worth the money.

Great heat cap. Seems durable and gets hot and has extra long cord so you can walk around and do other things while deep conditioning your locks . Love that feature . Thick material and high quality.

This steamer cap works really well and heats up nicely. It helps my conditioner penetrate better and leaves my hair feeling super soft and moisturized. I love the different heat settings so I can adjust it to what feels comfortable. Perfect for deep conditioning days at home.

This cap has plenty of room for my hair. I love the different temperature levels and timer options. The cord is long enough so that I can put on the cap and work at my desk comfortably it comes with a few disposable plastic shower caps to give myself deep conditioning but I don’t have to use them if I don’t want to. The heat cap has a removable plastic liner that I can clean after use without a disposable cap. It’s well made and comes with a travel bag that I can actually fit the heat cap back into after use.

I’ve only used it once so far but it works great! It heated up right away and once the timer went off, it shut off. There is no smell while it’s on and it is not heavy either. I think for the price, it’s great! Only thing, I wish it didn’t have to plugged in so I could move around with it on.

I use this Thermal steamer whenever I take a braided style out. It is the perfect tool for deep conditioning. My hair feels amazing when I’m done with it. The heat isn’t extremely hot, and the cap is not uncomfortable. It’s truly a wash day staple for me.

Love this heat cap. What differentiates it from the last one I has is the cord is a good length, the first one I had the cord was 1/2 as long. The string to tighten the cap is thick, strong and easy to grasp. The other was probably 1/3 as thick so it was very hard to tighten once on. The included plastic shower caps make it easier to get your hair all trapped so you just slip on the cap and tighten. I like the timer feature and the 10 heat settings. It does get hot, 10 is too much for me where other product's 10 level heat usually leaves me wanting more.
