Really strong hood bags. Not too big but great for food shop

I needed to replace my shopping bags as they were worn after 10 years of use. These are a little bigger but are perfect size and carry a lot of grocery shopping. The bags are also strong. Only down fall is the handles are big so for little people like me you have to be careful it's not dragging on the floor.

Well made. Had them for several months now, use them whenever I go shopping so get well used and none have broken yet. The only thing I would change (and this is a personal preference) would be for the handles to be ever so slightly longer so that I could put them on my shoulder a little easier. Brilliant bags and will buy again.

The bags are a perfect size for the car-boot, well made and practical. Durability and comfort yet to be tested, but I expect the same satisfaction as any other similar bag. Note that the bags do not have a plastic lining, but, at just over £3 per bag, that is hardly surprising. I will probably get more, to pass to family members.

Great for shopping holds heavy shopping

The whole point of stopping using plastic carrier bags is to reduce their impact on our environment, especially the world's oceans that are awash (pun intended) with bits of plastic. How does moving from bags for free to those we have to pay for solve anything? Having had a couple of those Tesco "bags for life" last only a couple of shopping trips and realised that no one in their right mind is going to queue with their knackered bags for another replacement that will fail as quickly and then presumably go the way of other plastic bags; i.e. to some unscrupulous waste management company that sends them to landfill or dumps them in the ocean; I opted for something that solves both problems. These bags are made from natural fibres that will decay (when allowed to) very quickly, whilst being very sturdy and capable of being used to lug week after week of groceries. I expect these to last me years. Very happy with them and recommend highly.

I already have a set of these bags and wanted some more. On I arrival I was disappointed to find the handles are now longer off-white coloured. The quality is not so good as my original set. They are fine if you want to use them as a set of shopping bags, they are just not quite as shown, so photograph needs updating.
