I have a dozen or so YoLink LoRa products. I designed the RF protocol in Lutron's Cassetta products and I've. spoken to the engineers at YoLink and their system is system. The communication to the devices is SUPER RELIABLE -- much better than wifi (longer wavelength, among other things, equals better penetration through walls). Their products are very reliable and their customer support is EXCELLENT. They respond quickly and they actually know what they are talking about at a technical level.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOLINK PRODUCTS.They are also very reasonably priced. You have to buy the separate hub, which is an added expense, and if you only want one YoLink device makes it pricey. But once you have the hub, the additional devices are inexpensive. I use their door sensors, door locks, motion detectors and this leak detector I use as a rain detector (it's just sitting outside on a horizontal surface).It is very sensitive. Just a drop or two can set it off. It says it's raining and I go outside and think, "it's not raining" but then I wait a 10 seconds and "oh wait, I felt a drop." that's how sensitive it is. Very easy to set up -- just scan the code.

This was an add on to my existing Yolink Home Smart system. Love how easy these things are to set up - scan code on module with the App, and you off and running. App is very intuitive and easy to follow. This system just works. Will be expanding system.

Great product! Particularly like the contact sensors on the top as well as the bottom to get leaks from above as well as puddling below. Super simple app and installation. I’ve tested with water and they work great. Better than my previous units from another manufacturer.

I have been a loyal user of Ring cameras etc…since the first doorbell camera came out. It was called The Doorbot!I own at least 50 Ring devices and love the peace of mind and safety they provide. That being said, I was in the market for water leak devices and needed 10 to fully cover a condo I own. Could not fathom paying $25 to $30 for each sensor.Took a chance on the Yolink devices at 1/3 the cost of Ring devices and are very happy with my purchase. They work as well as Ring sensors and use regular triple a batteries. The app sends you a text or email or both. Tge app and the sensors work great and have a smaller footprint.The only drawback i see is, I cannot incorporate the sensors to my Ring system and have to open the Yolink app to see status etc.

We own three homes in different parts of the US. I have multiple Yolink products in all of them and they make it easy to manage the houses without expensive home watch. The Yolink products I use are temperature and humidity sensors, water leak sensors, power switches, water shutoff valves, and a water meter for the lawn sprinkler. It gives me great peace of mind knowing the climate conditions in the homes, being able to turn on and off the water as needed, automating lights in the house for security purposes, and knowing how much water my sprinkler uses. All this on my iPhone App from anywhere in the world. A great plus is that the Yolink devices are connected to a radio wave hub and not individually to my WiFi router. This saves a lot of bandwidth for browsing or watching movies.

This is a well constructed device that really works. I tested each device on a small leak and the response was very fast via the apps. The battery last 5 years. My only issue is the battery aren't replaceable. I purchase 4 device with network base for $60. The Apps is good with lots of notifications options.I strongly recommend this device.

These little things are life savers. They have saved me on at least 3 occasions of water issues. I thought hey, we just left the house, there is no way our sink is leaking…and yet we turned around to go home and it was. It was literally just two drops, but it caught it and alerted us. This also happened with our bathroom pipes. Just barely leaking and it alerted us. If it had not, who knows if it would have busted and caused a bigger problem. We also own a VRBO and we have these throughout the wet areas, gives us a peace of mind in case something ever happens there. Totally worth the purchase! Get you one for each sink, toilet, washer, fridge, etc. You won’t be disappointed.

I have many of the "YoLink" water sensors (without the alarm), that I'm very pleased with, so when I was in need of water sensors which can actually alarm audibly in addition to the text/email messages sent, I thought, "awesome," as the other sensors are fine.Nope ! Not for me.I bought them as a result of someone who's elderly and forgetful whom has a bad tendency of walking away from a sink their filling with water for dishes. The regular sensor (minus the audible alarm) does its job by alerting me via text/email, but it's basically not as helpful as one which would immediately alarm and alert the person whom can take quicker action.Thus, if I'm not in the house, or cannot get ahold of the person in the home to address the situation, it turns into a major issue fast!So, I thought buying these would be a great addition/replacement to the other YoLink standard water sensors.In theory yes, however a big "No Way" for anyone whom has a TV on. The alarm is a chirp (at least on mine) not continuous, and not loud enough to get the attention of someone with background noise, or poor hearing.I kept mine, I'll use them elsewhere, but certainly wont be buying these type again.BTW, I did find and purchase others which sound super loud (like a smoke alarm), which will solve my need. They also send the text/email messages.

A must have !! Purchased multiple devices. Within months my waterheater heater tank ( 8 yrs old had a leak); replaced water-heater tank; same day got a warning notification. Bottom line saved thousands in potential water damage
