what are the ingredients of this soap?

“Pure lye” (sodium hydroxide) would eat through your skin to the bones. Lard (rendered from pig fat), and tallow (tendered from beef fat) are both historical in making soap. The lye and fats are mixed with water in certain proportions until the mixture begins to saponify (make soap). The mixture is poured into a mold and, after roughly 30 days of curing, the resulting soap is lye-free and water-free.

Can you wash your hair with this?

You can but it will leave a residue. I have long thick hair and tried washing it with this soap and my hair became stiff and you could feel the soap residue in it after a few washes. My husband uses it on his head but he buzzes his hair. I do notice it leaves a soap residue on his scalp though if his hair gets too long. So I wouldn’t really recommend it unless you have a very short buzzed type of hair cut.

Can I wash face with this soap ?

Yes, I wash my face with it. No issues. I wash everything with it. It works great. I have skin issues and it does not cause problem. In fact I use it because it is mild on my skin.
