undefinedDurante una gita turistica in pullman, Rosalba, casalinga di Pea, viene dimenticata in un autogrill. Un po' offesa, invece di aspettare che marito e figli vengano a riprenderla, decide di tornare da sola a casa. Si trova però su un auto diretta a Venezia, dove lei arriva per la prima volta e sente di voler rimanere. Mimmo, il marito, non sa come comportarsi, finché scopre che Costantino, un suo dipendente, è un appassionato di libri gialli e allora lo spedisce a Venezia con il compito di ritrovare la moglie. Rosalba intanto ha trovato lavoro nel negozio di fiori di Fermo, un anziano anarchico, e vive a casa di Fernando, uno strano signore di origini islandesi che fa il cameriere ed è un cultore dell'Orlando Furioso e della poesia in genere. Rosalba stringe inoltre amicizia con Grazia, vicina di casa, estetista e massaggiatrice, poi, sollecitata da Fernando, riprende anche a suonare la fisarmonica. Dopo varie peripezie, Costantino riesce a trovarla ma nel frattempo ha conosciuto Grazia e si è innamorato di lei, perciò rinuncia al suo incarico e rimane anche lui a Venezia. Per Rosalba però la vacanza sembra ormai finita. Torna a casa alla vita di tutti i giorni, con i problemi casalinghi e familiari. Un giorno a Pea arriva Fernando a dichiararle il suo amore e a pretenderla. E se fosse arrivato il momento di darsi del tu?
