Updated 12/11/24: I just want to reiterate just how good the sensor is on this light. It is the most effective light sensor I have ever seen. It can detect me from about 30 feet away and sometimes much further. Not a lot of false alarms, either.<original review>Depending on your house style, this light might be a good alternative to the common outdoor spotlight design. This light is basically a white rectangle that lights up. The amount of light is as good as some of the stronger lights I have used, the only drawback is that it is a single light that shines in one direction, versus other lights with 2 or 3 arms that can be directed. Other than that, though, this light has a couple of advantages. One is that it has the best motion sensor I have ever seen. It turns on at twice the distance as just about all the other lights I have owned, and I don't even have it at full sensitivity (afraid it would trip to easily from wind or critters). The other nice feature is the app. This is the first outdoor spotlight I have been able to control through an app and I really like it. You can schedule it, control how long the light stays on, change the light temperature and brightness. You can't adjust sensitivity or lux, but it's nice to be able to control what it can from my phone. Please note, however, it is a bluetooth connection so you have to be within range.One thing to be aware of is the housing is square, which creates a watertight seal if the junction box is embedded in the wall (allowing for a flush mount). I have my round junction box mounted on the surface, so it doesn't match, but it is under an eave and we don't get much rain.Overall it is a nice, bright light that has great sensitivity and may fit in better aesthetically with some house designs.

First off, I don't normally write many reviews. But felt inclined to do so after my purchase. Item appears to be as advertised. Have not installed yet. But seller has already contacted me through messaging, to ensure I have the best experience with installation and usage. The light appears to be solid and well made. Detailed instructions were emailed to me as well. Can't speak to longevity of the device as of yet. But the seller clearly stands behind their product. A written guarantee of 60 days was given instead of the standard 30 day return policy. And As of now, I would recommend this light. To someone who may be on the fence about making the purchase, I can say that this company cares and stands behind their product. So definitely give it a try. I will update in the event that my experience changes. As of now, I'm satisfied with my purchase. I'm happy to support this brand. Many thanks to Sophia from Orein!Update: As of 9-9-24 the light has been installed. Everything seems to work as advertised. Along with the ability to change the color of the light from warm to cool. The sensor can pick up someone walking from my driveway. Which is about 20 ft. from the door. I top mounted mine. Most will probably install vertically, but it will work either way. The only thing to watch for is your wire management. Make sure your wires have enough clearance when mounting, and aren't being pressed too tightly against the mounting plate. Had to be mindful of the ground screw in my installation. Theres only a very small gap between the mounting plate and the box. Otherwise, all is well!

So I installed the light, and then downloaded and installed the Android app for it. It connected to the light, and let me control sensitivity, light levels, all that great stuff. Then I exited the app. About 4 hours later I noticed my phone was VERY warm and not a lot of battery left - maybe 10%. This is a phone that has battery in it's name (Motorola) and typically js good for 2 days of fairly serious use. I didn't think much of it - so I charged the phone overnight.Next day - put phone in my pocket and it was uncomfortably warm. The battery went from 100% to around 15% in about 4 hours. Something going on here..I finally figured it out - the app - by default sends connection packets out on Bluetooth looking for any devices nearby. It has no geo feature, so it continues looking even miles away. This is how it's set by default - it loads and runs in the background looking for some light to talk to.That can be changed - at least on Android 13 - you can make an app only use Bluetooth or WiFi when you're actively using the application. I changed that setting - and the phone is back to being a 2 day phone.So one star off for that. I looked on their rather minimalist website and no mention was made of this..Nice light other than that. If it lasts I'll be quite happy with it.

This is a very impressive light. It was easy to install and has just the right number of functions to make it easy to use. The motion sensor works perfectly. Highly recommended.

Our old floodlight was looking shabby so we bought this to replace it. It looks much nicer and provides plenty of light for our deck area. And it is always nice to be able to update with an Alexa compatible fixture.

Motion detector works great! Led lights has white light or yellow you can change it. Suit to need.

It was easy to install. I'm using it with motion detection. It's nice that it has other options, such as disk-to-dawn.

I love my new light and all my neighbors ask me about it.

Quality is good for the money. Sensors work good a bit chalenging on installation because of short wire. I like the look. It is simple and modern.
