ZKTOOL Engine Camshaft Alignment Locking Timing Tool Kit Compatible with VW Audi C6 A4L A6L 2.0L Turbo 2.0L FSI/TFSi BPJ CDL Engine, OEM T10252, Camshaft and Crankshaft Setting Tool Set

The screws that hold in the camshaft posts snapped off. This requires a welded joint as the screws aren't strong enough, my engine timing is now off requiring more work 😑

Bolted the tool down to my engine & locked the cams in place, and as I undid the bolt holding the cam chain pulley the two bolts holding the arms of the tool on both snapped, which meant the cams were free to turn thus defeating the point of the tool. Fortunately no damage was done to my camshafts/block (I would be doing much more than leaving a 1* review if that were the case) The bolts are far too small to withstand the force needed to undo the pulley bolt, two tiny little m5 bolts are no use, it either needs larger bolts (which is entirely possible, the arms have plenty of room to fit a bigger bolt hole as seen in the pictures) or the arms need welding in place, I am now going to have to do this myself as my car is currently sat on the drive with no rocker cover on essentially unusable until I can fix this tool. Not just bad quality bolts either as I replaced them and tried again and the same happened, simply a terrible design for a tool that needs to withstand a hell of a lot of force.

Hatte Mir dieses Werkzeug betsellt aber dann doch nicht benötigt und die Bestellung storniert, jedoch wurde es geliefert. Dafür kann Ich jetzt folgendes zum Artikel schreiben. Die Nuss die dabei liegt die für die Original Nockenwellenverstellerschraube sein sollte , passt NICHT ,diese ist zu groß VW Passat 3cB6, FSI Motor 2,0 L. Ich gehe mal davon aus, dass das bei anderen Motoren des Konzerns auch so scheint. Ob man das andere Zubehörwerkzeug nutzen kann, kann Ich nicht beschreiben da Ich dieses nicht benutzt hatte. Aus diesem Grund geht der Artikel unbenutz zurück.
