Very versatile. Tastes great! Add to popcorn, stews and soups. High B vitamins and contains protein. Also give to my chickens. Good quality as it does not use B12 synthetic which contains small amounts of cyanide. Low sodium content.

Been ordering this off and on for a couple years now. Very good every time. I also use this with my ducks. Yeah it’s more expensive than brewers yeast, but when a baby duck is down and you need a reliable product, use this instead! It tastes better than brewers and it has a higher quantity of thiamine AND is calculated for you. Where some brewers is not. The longer a duckling is down, the longer it takes to get it back up. I also love to give it to my adult ducks too. But I can afford it, and it’s too dangerous to fully let them free range on property.

Flavor is on great, size of the flakes is medium, large. I love blending with other seasoning for popcorn. Very good quality

You get a lot of fresh Nutritional Yeast for the money. Great flavor. Large flakes, not beat up like some brands. WFPB Rocks! UPDATED 10/10/24 - Just re-ordered! This stuff is great for all around WFPB cooking. I keep some in a table shaker to top foods for last minute additional nutrition and flavor. Sure beats keeping up with B vitamin supplements daily, too. Great flavors, consisten high quality product, and a daily staple in my Whole Food Plant Based lifestyle. Utilizing this versus the liquid B vitamins is a no brainer! Simple and easy to use AND it makes foods taste so much better! Win/Win! I keep the main bag, sealed, in the freezer. Refill my old table top Braggs nutritional yeast dispensor topped off and in the fridge for ready use. That keeps it all fresh! 2 lb bag lasts me between 9 months and a year. It's just me eating it. Great value for wonderful flavor and nutritional values!

The taste is good

We had never tried this brand. We were a little weary because it is sold in a bag instead of a solid container. The contents of the bag have a bright yellow color, which they say comes from the fortified vitamins. The added nutrition from the fortified vitamins is helpful for those on a plant-based diet. It is a mix, with half of it being nice flakes, and the rest being powder. It must be harder to maintain the flake texture in a soft bag. Previously we bought Nutritional Yeast in a hard container that protected the texture. A flaky texture makes it easier to combine with prepared foods. Whereas the powder form may be easier for recipes. This product definitely has a very nice cheesy flavor to it. It goes well with many foods. It is a good product. We give it 4 stars only because we were looking for a more consistently flaky product.

Large bag. Used this product on a casserole, no off taste. Seems to be a good quality.
